We really enjoyed our short stay here. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We mostly were here just to sleep but the view - wow! - an amazing way to start and end each day, with sounds of the waves crashing. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!!

Driving there can be tough if you’re coming from Hilo between 4-6pm on a weekday. Also headed to Hilo in the morning is rough. Plan accordingly. The room is epic. If you catch a strong wind or storm during your stay, it’s almost intimidating. The waves are right there. We don’t think we could have picked a better location for what we were looking for. Falling asleep to waves crashing. Private parking. Easy access. Great shower. Pull down bed which is incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend it for any couples

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s a bit off the beaten track but that adds to the charm. Right on the ocean with beach access a few properties down. Clean and comfortable. Perfect Place to Get your Zs
We didn't spend much time in the unit but it was the perfect place to put your head down and get your Zs before heading out and about. The sound of the ocean at night was a plus. Very nice and helpful host!

Wonderful Studio
This studio was the perfect place for a 3 day getaway. The studio is small, but we didn’t plan on spending much time there anyway. When we were there in the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and listening to the waves crash against the lava rocks. The place was clean and in a nice neighborhood. The Murphy bed was comfortable, and listening to the sound of the waves while falling to sleep was great.

Great little getaway on the ocean
Lots of sweet touches packed into this place. Easy check in and check ou! Loved the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep. Comfy bed, and an amazing view! Jet lagged had me up to see the first crack of light on the ocean. The sunrise was spectacular and I got to see a sea turtle playing by the rocks! My husband spotted a dolphin but I didn’t make it in time to verify. 😂. Great communication by owner!

Nettes kleines Zimmer direkt am Meer mit Meeresrauschen.
Nettes kleines Zimmer, direkt am Meer gelegen. Man hört den ganzen Tag das Rauschen der Brandung. Auf dem Balkon kann man abends nur mit sehr viel Mückenspray sitzen. Es gibt keine Herdplatte sondern nur eine Mikrowelle zum kochen. Leider hat das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage, dafür einen großen Ventilator der sehr laut ist. Ohne den Ventilator ist leider kein Schlaf möglich,weil es schwül warm in dem Zimmer wird.

This is a tiny space, which means you get a tremendous experience at a great value. Besides, we visited Hawaii to enjoy the outdoors. The host Joe exceeds every expectation, if you want privacy: you get privacy if you're going to learn about the area, he delivers, and if you're going to sleep as close to the waves as you may be in this lifetime, STAY HERE.

Beautiful, peaceful ocean getaway
This little oceanfront room is a wonderful place to rest, enjoy a cup of coffee, and watch/listen to the ocean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and there's no way you can beat the natural sound of waves crashing as you float off to sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed this private, quiet getaway! Great for couples and those looking for a non-touristy spot. Right down the road from lava fields and great local food just 15 minutes away. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Unbeatable ocean views
Being able to watch ocean waves crash onto volcano rock beaches from your bed is the highlight of this cozy spot. The space itself is small, but has everything you need for a great trip. The bathroom and kitchenette areas are updated, modern, and very clean. Joe and Cindy were friendly, kind hosts. Great spot for one or two adults. Absolutely would recommend!

Quiet, yet accessible studio in Pahoa. Literally, yards from the shoreline with waves cresting on the rocks and fantastic view of the ocean. Joe and his family were great hosts with plenty of suggestions for local food and things to do. Perfect place to come and get away from it all or use as home base for exploring the 'BIg Island' Look forward to coming back..Mahalo

Amazing water view in beautiful quiet neighborhood.
Small private very clean room below house on beautiful oceanside property. The private deck is a beautiful peaceful spot to observe the ocean. High surf while we were there was mesmerizing. Community beach trail at the end of the street. Pahoa is about 5 miles away with lots of good restaurants and interesting shops. The owner was super quick to respond to our requests and very friendly.
