This was our 4th time staying in the 30a area. We appreciate renters are opening their homes to strangers and place the home in the hands of 3rd party agencies, but I think, for the locale and price, the accommodations need to be better. We loved the home, location, and golf cart, but many travel in large groups and from far away. We communicated that we’d be arriving early and that the house may be available to us. We arrived 2 hours early and the home was ready, but the key unlock didn’t work until 4pm sharp. It was frustrating after a long trip. If it was communicated hard stop that it wouldn’t be ready at 4, we would have amended travel plans. Furthermore, to not provide beach towels or basic living necessities (mainly garbage bags) was frustrating and disappointing. We ended up taking bathroom towels to the beach first and then ended up buying towels. We’ve never traveled with our own towels. Given the price point and locale, we’ve been accustomed to this basic necessity being provided. We also were told, despite honoring the request of the management team to get trash cans on curb on time, and to bring them in, that one trash bag was offered per stay. 4 people for 4 days will fill more than one trash bag. We ended up putting our bathroom cans in the kitchen to handle trash. We were extremely respectful and appreciative of the property, but the customer service given by the management company was disappointing and we won’t book a future stay with this property manager.
