I stayed at this property over a long weekend, and unfortunately, the host failed to resolve an issue with the hot tub. I repeatedly reached out via the messaging platform to report that the hot tub wasn’t working, and the remote control needed to adjust the heat wasn’t connecting to the system. I specifically chose this house for the hot tub, knowing the pool and ocean might be too cold in February. When the host finally responded, I was told the pool technician had been alerted, but no timeline was provided for the repair. Later, I was informed that a part needed to be replaced, but the technician didn’t have it on hand and would try to find one. However, I never received an update on whether or when this would be resolved.The host also mentioned escalating the issue to their resolutions team, and that I would hear from Unwind Luxury Vacations within 48 hours. It’s now been over three days, and despite asking three times to be connected directly, I have yet to receive any contact or updates.This is extremely disappointing. I understand that things break, but when an issue is reported on Thursday and remains unresolved by Sunday – with little communication unless prompted by me – that’s unacceptable.
