1. The House is clean and so beautiful. 2. Lots of extra bedding, towels, beach towels, spices, garbage bags, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, tissues, toilet paper. 3. Pontoon Rick is great and very helpful. 4. So many amenities on the property: 5 TVs, popcorn popper, outside water toys, marshmallow/hot dog sticks, gym, extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage ( we really appreciated this feature), weber grill/black-stone grill and grilling utensils 5. Dock is great along with the hot tub, paddle boards and fire pit. I would highly recommend this location. Thanks

Best amenities for a VRBO - perfect family vacation
Our multi-generational family has stayed at many different VRBO's over the last 15 years and this by far has the best amenities. The owner and management team are very responsive and have thought of every little detail to make your family feel right at home. The kitchen was stocked with oils and spices, bathrooms stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap and dish towels and beach towels provided. These amenities are almost never offered in other rentals so we were grateful to not have to pack these items. The hot tub, indoor basketball court and outdoor volleyball court were big hits with our kids. The flat yard to the beach and dock made it easy to get from the home to the lake. The location next to the Bear's Den golf course along with the golf discount was very appreciated for the family members who love golf...a few of them played every day! The pictures and property description are all accurate with the exception that there is not a jet ski lift. We just ended up pulling ours onto the beach area. This is the second time we have been on Long Lake and it is one of the clearest lakes in Minnesota. I would highly recommend this VRBO for any family or group gathering.

C’est la Vie
Due to the Paris Olympics this was our theme. We gathered family from WA, CO, MN and Germany. The property was just wonderful for our family with plenty of space. It was well stocked with supplies, had all the toys and things necessary for playing outside and using the boat. The response to any of our questions or needs was so swift. We honestly couldn’t have had a better time and hope to come back next year.

Family Vacation
This home is located on beautiful piece of property. We enjoyed being able to walk out to the lake and fishing from the dock. The house was large and provided our group with space and good sleeping areas. Some of the pictures on the web site for the basement were not accurate (arcade games were missing). The hot tub was enjoyed by all, but needs some updating. Wonderful location.

So close to being great
This house was a great place for our family to celebrate Christmas early. The house is enormous. The indoor basketball court/garage was a great place for the kids to run. Watching the swans and eagles on the water was beautiful. The outdoor hot tub was great. The beds were good, loved having shampoo/conditioner/soap in each bathroom, and it was well-appointed overall. However, the house was dirty, worn down in places, and had several broken or barely functioning items. It was so close to being so good. For the money, it would be a toss up if I recommend staying here or not. A deep clean, maintenance, and replacing a bit of furniture would be a game changer. Its so close to being so great!

Perfect for us
This property was just what we were looking for with 13 adults and a new grandchild. The large common areas upstairs and downstairs gave us plenty of room to gather, and the large bedrooms gave everyone a comfortable space of their own. The kitchen was very well-stocked with tools and the little things in the pantry you forget to bring on vacation. There was plenty of comfortable seating (and a great hot tub) on the patio to enjoy time together outside, too. The Weber and Blackstone grill options for cooking were greatly appreciated. The yard was well-manicured for bags and volleyball, and the indoor basketball hoop was a big hit, too. Beautiful lake. Found good fishing, plenty of room for skiing, and lots of space for boating and floating on the lake.

Great Family time!
I expected more for what we paid. The fishing was good and we all loved the pontoon. Had difficulty getting pontoon key-upsetting! House was lovely but starting to look worn. Torn upholstery, time to replace some mattresses. Stinky tap water-should provide drinking water. There was no literature regarding area. In the past we have always received a Welcome basket-not this time.

`Big, Clean, Vacation house
This property was the best we have stayed at over the past 10 years of family vacations. The hot tub overlooking the lake, the rental pontoon on the premises, the spacious bedrooms, # of bathrooms, big kitchen, were all wonderful and have us considering returning next year. While we did enjoy the sand beach and fire pit, the water under the dock would not be considered ideal for swimming because of the lily pads and other plant life growing there. We did our swimming farther out in the wonderful lake and were fine with that. The only recommendation we have was to have the stove repaired or replaced. We cook everyday and one burner only worked on the outside ring of the electric stove and the oven did not heat very well so was not usable. Overall, the spacious house was amazing, beautiful, and we loved it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home but needs alot of improvements.
We have been coming to the area for decades & generations, but we have never come in October so we decided to rent this beautiful home for 9 of our family. We were surprised by many issues upon arrival. Dead gnats in the bathroom, each toilet had a pinkish film in the toilets we had to clean & flush several times to get it gone, urine around the toilet in master bathroom and dust behind tvs and vents. Seems like it hadnt been cleaned or freshened up prior to our arrival despite paying $400 fee. We know they may say we never let them know but our daughter did reach out to them asking if there was rat poisoning in garage since they brought their dog. The host txt back forth more concerned that we had not paid for pet fee. Our kids were not sure if they were bringing their dog, yet answered their questions and they charged our c/c for fee yet never even answered her question. We did also ask if the hot tub was cleaned recently and they did send someone out to do that, which we appreciated. The things we thought should have been dealt with for the cost of the house was: the light was out at front door, the shower head in up stairs bathroom kept falling off, there was no blinds in the master bedroom facing neighbors and a camper right on ground level. Also no screens on those windows or on ones upstairs by bed, seemed dangerous if wanted to open them with kids. The basement was clean but had a weird odor, like mice. The kitchen although big and pantry, had many things unusable. The pans were so cheap and teflon scratchs so bad which is so dangerous, we would not eat out of them. We had to buy our own to use or use the crock pot instead. There was no cookie sheets, the can opener was so cheap and so hard to use, we had to buy these. The main tv in living room has speaker blown, it works but gets staticy. We were all very disappointed the dock was pulled out. Thats the main reason we come to MN and we brought our boat but could not even use the lake we were on with no dock, yet neighbors on both sides had their docks out. The treadmill needs the belt tighten so it could not be used like we wanted to. We also didnt understand why no lock between kitchen & garage. With not having a key, we were concerned if code to get in changes? We could of txt the hosts but we did not want to be spending all our vacation time txting and having repair people come each day. We did enjoy our stay we just wish these things would been usable for the cost of our stay.

Great for multi family get together!
From the moment I booked this property to the moment we left, everything was stress free and communication was wonderful. The care taker is a friendly, wonderful man. The property managers were easy to get in touch with. Anything we needed they were able to help with right away, very impressive. The property is absolutely gorgeous, clean, with something for everyone. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 adults and 4 children. We even had extra bed space open. The backyard is easy to walk on, nice and flat for corn hole and getting to the water. The pontoon is beautiful. The lake was clear. We had a ton of water toys available to use. The kitchen was spacious and easy for family meals. I highly recommend this property to anyone and we hope to be back again one day.

We had a blast at this property! There was so much room for everyone and activities for the kids. The concierge was fabulous and loved we could just text with anything, all requests and responses were immediately taken care of. Highly recommend this property for gatherings big or small. We hope to be back!

Memories in Minnesota!
Our vacation for 16 family members ages 1-65 made so many smiles and memories!!! It is impossible to mention all the amenities but all surpassed our expectations. From the beautiful house and the grounds to the beach/lake, volleyball, fire pit, fishing, water activities (also rented the pontoon!) there was never a need to leave the property other than to purchase groceries. With a grill and black stone along with a stocked kitchen there was no need to leave. By the time evening came, all were tired so did not utilize much of the rest of house other than the comfortable beds/fully stocked bathrooms. Weather was awesome and all the horror stories we had heard about mosquitos did not occur. The area had been sprayed. From the property manager, Shevy, to the maintenance man, Rick, our correspondence prior and questions after arrival were answered timely and most importantly kindly. 😊 It was voted 100% on departure to return in the future! If questioning rather to rent this VRBO, you will not be disappointed! A Kansas Family

Family reunion
Excellent property for family gathering. Large and well designed property allowing for group gatherings and then great spaces for families to have private time. Wonderful to have flat property to the lake without a bunch of stairs. Nice shade down at the lake as well as the patio. Air conditioner was awesome and the property is controlled for mosquitos. Very pleasant to spend time outside at this property. If you need an awesome property for a large family, this is it.

Over Priced
Nice place but way overpriced. Disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working. We had to keep asking for it to be fixed. It was fixed halfway through our vacation. Stingy on the towels and washcloths. We had to keep washing towels. Also, not much in the kitchen. Bring your own salt and pepper. Other places I rented at least had the basics. They need to tell more. Indoor basketball court, exercise room and water toys like skis are not mentioned in the VRBO. We rented skis, however if we new they had them it would have saved us money. The teens liked the indoor basketball court. Overall we had a good time so I guess that is worth something.

The property was fine, however we were somewhat disappointed when only 2 out of 4 video games worked, the bedroom tv was not working and the frame on the bed in that room broke and one couple had to sleep on the mattress on the floor for the last 2 nights

Worth the splurge
After COVID ruined our 2020 vacation plans, we decided to splurge on a stay at a luxury lake home this year, and it was even better than we imagined! The kids enjoyed playing on the Maui mat and tubing in the lake, then warming up in the hot tub. The adults appreciated the spacious house with good beds and nice furniture, inside and out. The property managers and maintenance person were very responsive to the minor issues we experienced (slow draining tub and stove knob stuck). We booked again for next year before our stay ended.

Great stay!
We had a family of 8 total with age ranges from 9-78. We had a great time and relaxed like everyone wanted. The house is amazing, inside and out. Not a thing left out of place. Beautiful property with many amenities.
