Our family of three and our collie had one of our “best vacations ever” staying in the Coach House in Peachland, BC in early June. It is well-designed and appointed, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and private. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Parking is immediately out front, and is shaded by the cottage. There is a large lawn adjacent to it. When we arrived, we were welcomed with some Perrier, a nice bottle of wine, and a fridge stocked with some essentials, e.g. milk, condiments.
Beata is a wonderful host. Responses were prompt and pleasant, and she was available to address any issues. Reserving the property, checking in, and checking out were quick and easy. As we left, we told her we’re booking same time next year as soon as reservations open.
Located above Peachland, the Coach House is convenient to the beach on Okanagan Lake, historic sites, wineries, and hiking trails. We walked and hiked with our dog every day. You have all the benefits of a small town but (bigger) city shopping and restaurants are only 12 – 20 mins away. We’re fans of President’s Choice, and shopped our groceries at Real Canadian Super Store in West Kelowna. We were impressed with Mexican take-out at El Taquero in Kelowna, and cinnamon-sugar bannock bites at Kekuli Café in West Kelowna. So much so, we stopped for bannock sandwiches (and scones :-) at Kekuli Café in Merritt on the way home.
