Overall I would have given our stay 4 or 5 stars in terms of the quality and cleanliness of the cabin, however, the wifi and lack of responsiveness from the host left a sour taste in our mouth. The first 2 days the wifi was OK at best, which was fine because we were mostly out hiking and exploring the area with our 2 dogs. At night we could watch some Netflix with buffering every 5 minutes or less even after I reduced the screen quality to 720p. However, Friday and Saturday the wifi was non-existent. Yes we are out in the mountains so we expected some spotty wifi, but after a long day of hiking we couldn't, share any pictures with family, watch any movies, or respond to any work emails without using a mobile Hotspot and standing out on the edge of the deck to get cell signal. Despite all of this, I may have been willing to overlook it had the host acknowledged the problem... However, I reached out both Friday and Saturday night very politely to ask if there was any solution as I had already reset the router. Radio silence. As of our checkout at 10am Sunday we have not heard a single thing from the host. Overall great place to stay if you are looking to get away and disconnect from social media, but definitely not the 25mb/s of wifi advertised on VRBO and extremely disappointing that this "premium host" never even acknowledged the problem despite reaching out twice.
