This was our first time staying in South Harbour. We enjoyed our stay, but prefer the quieter end of Pensacola Beach down toward the entrance to Fort Pickens. The key fobs and the remote were a bit of a nuisance, but we completely understand the need for them so that only owners and guests are on the property. Our remote for the drive-through gate did not work, so we had to use the fob instead. The bedroom windows faced the road (all of the South Harbour doors open up to the outside and not into an interior hallway), so there was quite a bit of road noise. There were no steak knives in the unit, and the knives that are there need to be sharpened (not a big deal if you will not be doing much cooking or eating in the condo). There is no spatula in the unit (for omelets or flipping pancakes), but we were able to use what was provided. The cookware was in very good shape, which is rare for rental condos. The pool is small, but it felt fabulous, as the heat index was well over 100 degrees for several days during our trip. The balcony view was amazing. We walked to Sidelines for dinner twice during our trip, which was very convenient. The condo was clean, but the tile grout needs to be cleaned / steamed. We would highly recommend staying here if you prefer to be close to the action and want to be able to walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. Donna was great to work with!
