Girls' Weekend!
The cottoge was cute and cozy. The three bedrooms made it extra nice and each of us had our own bed. Steve made sure the cottage was stocked with everything we might need and he was easy to get in touch with. It was a great location and Steve was a very good host! Just Perfect
What a lovely home! Nice and spacious! Loved having two bathrooms, and my own bed to sleep in. Loved the location. Would have loved to explore more, but not enough time in the day. Steve was fantastic and really easy to reach, and prompt with his responses ! Plan to stay here again!!!

Quiet getaway in colorful Michigan.
It was a beautiful cottage with all the amenities. The proximity to the lake and eating and shopping within walking distance was ideal. The fall foliage was absolutely spectacular and better than expected!

It’s a great location! It’s close to the lakes and rivers. We spent every day playing on the water! We enjoyed the mornings and evenings at the house before and after our adventures! It's our third trip to the house and won’t be our last. Steve is an awesome host! Highly recommend!!!!

Best vacation place to stay
If you want a clean, beautifully decorated, fully functional, with many amenities, this is the place to go. My sisters and I stayed there last year and liked it so much, we booked for our stay this year and hopefully next year too. Host responds right away to requests for help, and yard is beautiful with flowers and relaxing area.

Quaint Cottage Gem for Up North Getaway ...
We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Steve's cottage in Indian River! Steve made the whole process easy and was available for any questions or guidance that we needed. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have to buy any extras (paper products, laundry det, cleaning supplies, propane for grill, even firewood for the fire pit ... it was all there!) Indian River is a gem and we could walk anywhere in town for anything that we could ever need. Perfect stop for your up north getaway! This was our first visit to Michigan, and it definitely won't be our las. Thank you, Steve for the wonderful hospitality, we will be back!

The best place we've stayed at in Indian River!
Great house, great location, excellent hospitality! Would definitely choose this house again. They thought of every detail, and made it so easy! Simple checkout process, no long list of chores at the end of our stay, and they provided coffee pods, a few bottles of water and extra bathroom items in case we forgot something!

Texas Heat and Hurricane Escape
Steve’s cottage was amazing for my husband and I and our two teenage girls. He provided snacks and coffee, and even some water bottles. We were able to spend a day with friends on Mullet Lake, and it was a short drive to the catch the ferry to visit Mackinac Island. The beach was a short walk away, and he had chairs and towels for your convenience. Everyday we walked around the neighborhood to marvel at the beautiful flowers and even met people fishing on the dock. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Steve!

Highly recommend!
My husband and I come to Indian River often as his family has had property here for decades. We love it so much up here that when we got engaged, we could only imagine having our wedding here! We wanted a place of our own over the weekend and it was the perfect location for us. It’s right by town, so you can walk to everything from ice cream at Drost’s or Dairy Mart to breakfast at Christopher’s Cafe to Northland Brewery for yummy beers! The home was clean when we arrived and was fully stocked with anything we needed. I texted Steve that I couldn’t find an iron and 5 minutes later it’s at the doorstep! We also arrived to the sweetest card congratulating us on our marriage, which was such a sweet personal touch. Steve, thank you for opening up your beautiful home for my husband and I to enjoy our wedding weekend, we will forever cherish the memories we had there!
