The parking was horrible. The charge for valet is high. At checkout there were not enough staff to bring our car to us, we ended up walking to the garage and getting our own car. The hotel should have been prepared for the influx of guests due to the Eagles winning the Superbowl and the parade.

Pretty but uncomfortable

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very young but nice enough. The room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. For such an expensive nightly rate, I expected the bed to be more modern. It seemed like a spring mattress with a pillow top cover. We’re not the 90s anymore. My partner and I didn’t sleep well and wont be staying again.

Excellent center city hotel!

It had been years since I'd stayed at the Sofitel downtown and had forgotten how nice it was! The updated hotel bar is gorgeous. The hotel room was lovely and spacious - as was the bathroom. 10/10. I would definitely recommend staying here! Great location too.

Love Philly!

Hotel is in great location and is very beautiful. Beds are way too soft for our liking, and the servers in the hotel bar are not very friendly. But the concierge and desk staff were amazing. And the breakfast was excellent as well — great value.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. The king size bed very comfortable. The amenities were modern and stylish. They had a decent but expensive bar and the buffet breakfast was good. However, the valet service was horrific. They lost not only my key but multiple guest keys. It took them several HOURS to figure it out. They literally had to go to the garage, find my car, look at the ticket in the car to match it up with the key. By all means stay at the hotel but don't give them your keys or let them park your car.

The check-in process was quick and easy. Staff instantly helped with our luggage before we even got in the doors. The room was very nice. It was spacious and very clean. You could walk around and not bump into each other/furniture. They provided snacks and a stocked fridge (additional charges). The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. We ordered room service and that's probably the one thing that could improve. We got the food quickly which was nice. The food itself was just okay. It was definitely great to have room service as an option though since many hotels don't offer it anymore. I tend not to even bother looking for hotels that offer room service bc its rare so we were pleasantly surprised to learn they had this service. Thr location was close to many stores, restaurants, bars and the city itself. We felt safe walking around. All staff was friendly. The bar / lounge area was very nice. I'd definitely stay here again without a doubt.
