Great property, great place to stay! The pool hot tub area is nice. The property manager was able to accurately guide us through warming up the hot tub water from the pool equipment panels. Location is fantastic.

Great spot and spacious home. The ability to only heat the pool or the hot tub and not both at the same time was unfortunate but we enjoyed the pool. We would rent again.

House had good bones. However, Six burner stove of which two burners worked. Back yard could have used a good leaf blowing. Front door could be replaced, under cabinet lights did not work. Ice machine didn’t work—nothing worked in refrigerator door. Pool needed to be cleaned. Needed a hand rail between spa and pool for safety. Natural gas bbq needs work. New mattress needed in front bedroom. . For the price we paid, the place was a little tired. Two of the three heat lamps outside didn’t work.

Pool is disappointing

We waited to see if the property management company would respond to our issues but nothing yet. Issues we had: 1.Pool heat not ready but still charged for it. 2.Pool broken and damaged surface. Rock debris all over the floor of the pool and hot tub. Broken covers on the suction pumps in the pool. The one cover stil intact had a huge warning sign on it saying to make sure not to remove the lid. There were 2 lids missing and clearly broken off. 3.Flagstone falling a part all over. Uneven surfaces and trip hazards everywhere there is flagstone. Part of the bridge is laying in pieces. No one bothered to clean it up. 4.Broken metal rusted pipe sticking out of the ground right by the pool. 8" sticks up. Looks like it was part of a lawn ornament. 5.Owner showed up at the property in the middle of the night(9:30pm) to get a car from the garage. 6.You can only heat the pool or the hot tub. I have heard this is common practice but this is the first house we rented that did not allow both to be heated and we have rented many other pools. 7.Instructions for the pool/hot tub heater were very confusing and accessing the controls was dicey. Trip hazards and messy area. 8.No schedule provided on when service contractors would be coming so random pool contractor and landscapers just showed at the property without warning. We rented this property for the pool and outdoor space and it was very disappointing to see it falling into disrepair. Rest of the house is all good.

50th Birthday Celebration

A group of six of us came to celebrate three 50th birthdays. The house was perfect for our getaway. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. Outdoor pool area is gorgeous and relaxing. My only suggestion would be a binder of directions on the various appliances, pool, hot tub, etc in the house though communication with our host was amazing!! Overall I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home!

We had a great holiday for 5 nights at the Sandflower house! They had the waterfall and hot tub turned on for us when we arrived and it made for a dramatic and fabulous welcome. The house is super comfortable and the yard is very lush. House was clean, comfy beds, kitchen well stocked, and A/C blows ice cold. We spent the majority of our time in the pool and on the patio hanging out on the great outdoor sectional watching the NBA playoffs on the outdoor TV in the evenings. There were some mosquitos out there, so bring some repellent if you want to sit outside for morning coffee or night time swims. Be advised that the outdoor fireplace is not operational (the Expedia description says only the indoor fireplace didn't work), but it was no worries for us because it was hot in the evenings anyway. We were not allowed to park our car in the garage as stated in the description of the home, but there is a giant palo verde tree that provided shade for the whole driveway so it wasn't even an issue. Management was SUPER nice and responded immediately to the few questions we had upon check in. I never felt like we were bothering them...great customer service! The house has 5 coffee makers (!) including a Keurig, so if you drink coffee you're covered! :) The location in Desert Ridge was a great home base and super convenient to explore the rest of the valley. Main intersection of Tatum/Deer Valley had everything: Albertsons, Total Wine, gas station, several restaurants. Enjoy!

Almost perfect

This house was beautiful. The location for our family was perfect. The bedrooms were very comfortable, with wonderful white linens. The kitchen was nicely stocked, as were the bathrooms. We left just some small suggestions for the owner, one being a window covering in the master bath. Overall, the house itself was awesome. The only reason I didn't give the property a straight 5 rating was the backyard. The pool, the spa, the golf green, the barbecue area, the outdoor seating, along with the privacy given from the beautiful greenery... was almost the perfect oasis. The pool, unfortunately remained more green than blue for our visit, even after the pool maintenance came by. But, in their defense, it was Spring, and very windy. The wind was blowing leaves, petals, and tree seeds into the pool for 3 days straight. The pool, spa, and decking are all in need on minor repair, as well as the lighting throughout that beautiful yard. OVERALL, it was fantastic, and we do hope to stay there again.

Beautiful home

We loved our stay in Phoenix at this home . The home and pool were beautiful and we truly enjoyed our time there . The kids had so much fun playing in the pool and golfing. The beds were comfortable and the home was well stocked . My only feedback would be a more detailed home manual for instructions on the amenities of the home . We can’t wait to come back again !

Perfect family retreat in desert!

Our family used this property for our spring break getaway and it was perfect. The house was clean and just as described looking just like the pics. Well stocked kitchen and ease of check-in and check-out made this place one I’d love to come back to. Though temps were moderate we took dips in the pool and definitely enjoyed the hot tub. Almost awesome, but not quite.

There are things that are great about this house - the interior of the house was very clean. The decor is lovely, as are the neighborhood and surrounding parks. We had a good experience with everyone we spoke to throughout our stay - they were responsive and kind and did their best to fix issues that we brought to them. I’d say it was great customer service in how they dealt with us and all our communication. I was disappointed that we weren’t allowed to enter when the cleaning was complete. We have never encountered a short term rental company that didn’t allow us to check in when the unit is actually available. But they did clearly state there was no early check in unless we paid an extra $250, so that disappointment is due to my expectations of previous experiences. The house was in good shape, nicely decorated, the shampoo and conditioner etc. bottles were worn out and clearly refilled but I can appreciate the efficiency in that. Our biggest problem was the pool and hot tub. We chose the home based on the photos of a great outdoor experience for our kids but got to a backyard with a freezing, dirty pool and a hot tub did not heat up. We called and they were responsive, their team on the phones is excellent. But it took until late in the evening to get the hot tub to work and when it did it foamed up like a bubble bath. We learned that it was due to the ph of the hot tub being off - which meant it hadn’t been properly cleaned. Members of my family ended up with itchy rashes after being in the pool and hot tub. When I asked for them both to be cleaned the AvantStay team sent someone out promptly and it was taken care of, but we couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up again for hours after the pool technician had been there. And the color of the pool went from green to blue and both hot tub and pool went from cloudy to clear. And dramatic difference on our third day staying there. I did relay this issue to the company and they offered a $100 credit for future stays, but I don’t think I’d choose to stay in a house managed by this company again. Although I will say every person we talked to on the phone, FaceTime, text and email was very kind, the need for so much communication to fix so many issues took much of the joy and relaxation out of our trip.

Amazing Property!!!

The location and the property were absolutely incredible. Exactly as advertised. We had a few questions about a couple of things while we were there, one of those being pool, heat, and a couple of other things. The property managers were very prompt at returning text walked us through it offered to come out, extremely helpful. All in all it was an amazing experience, and I will definitely be using them in the future.
