We tolerated the dirty sheets and dingy sink because the price was ok. When we asked for a late checkout Sunday the latest that was offered was 11:45 and that was not easy. We decided to book for another night so my elderly mother-in-law did not have to attend my child's event for the entire day (we were hoping for a 1 o'clock late checkout on a Sunday) and the owner, I suppose, scolded me and told me my approach was wrong and that I had booked the wrong type of room. This is the type of property that cuts every corner- cleanliness, quality and customer service. I hope it fails- I won't return and will tell every person that is looking for a place to avoid this hotel.

I honestly thought our hotel room was clean. Smelled good. No real complaints about our room. The only poor thing i can say about our stay honestly, is that the hotel could use some modernizing. You can tell its been awhile since its had a remodel. But despite the fact that everything is a little out-dated, the room was clean, staff was friendly, and the location is nice. Close to attractions.

The hotel was well located. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. The refrigerator had now control knob for the temperature. Everything froze. Ruined our fruits and yogurt. Reported it but nothing was done about it. The shower was TINY. I mean TINY. Maybe 36 inches across. The heater worked well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The bed was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great! We got to the breakfast at the end of service time. The eggs were gone, but even though it was our fault for arriving kind of late, the server quickly brought out fresh hot eggs for us.

It was a very nice place. It was clean and located in a good area. I would stay again the price is right. My only complaint is that the lady who took care of the breakfast area seemed very grumpy.

Great budget friendly Inn

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pigeon River Inn! We booked a room with a jacuzzi and a balcony overlooking the river. The size of the room was a little small, but that’s because the jacuzzi and king bed both take up a lot of floor space. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, so it was fine for us. The Pigeon River Inn is in the perfect location! Everything was a short drive away, and walking distance to a few attractions. We would definitely stay there again! Breakfast was basic, but it was better than nothing. Our room and the common areas were very clean, and staff were friendly.

Beautiful, romantic stay!

This hotel was great!! We had a peaceful, quiet, romantic stay. Everything in the room worked and the room was clean. The bed was super comfy. I would highly recommend this hotel. If you are afraid of heights, I would request a room on the first floor because the elevator has a view as you go up. Great stay, friendly staff and excellent accommodations.
