The house is beautiful, unique and a comfortable stay. Matt was very easy to communicate with and accommodating.
The only thing we’d recommend is to have curtains/blinds on the window in the room with two beds as with our kids sleeping in there it was quite bright in the morning and hot (was an easy fix to put a sheet over bottom window). Also with some extremely hot weather for two of the four days we were there, the upstairs was quite hot (as expected in most homes) and would recommend a fan in there or a portable fan (we thankfully had brought one of our own as I’m used to sleeping with a fan and figured there might be some hot days). The last night was the hottest and even though the main bedroom has a ceiling fan and with the window open it was too hot to sleep in there so we shared the other room/fan and the couch.
But other than the heat, which is out of anyone’s hands, the stay was cozy (comfortable beds) and loved the quaint, old and lovely style of the home.
All the toiletries, appliances etc and more are provided.
The deer in the back and neighbours yards were an added bonus and was quite serene. And we enjoyed reading about the history of the Lebel house and mansion next door.
Matt is a pleasant host and would stay there again and would of course recommend staying there to anyone.
Pincher Creek is a beautiful town central to many beautiful national parks, falls and towns/cities which makes it an overall great place to stay.
