This was a lovely and spacious home located in a beautiful peaceful setting. However, it is not accessible to individuals with mobility problems as there are steep steps to the entrance. Although the rose bushes are lovely at the top of railing of steps would recommend they be trimmed so that the rails can be used by guests who need them to assist with steps. Also, providing the location of the bedrooms in the description, such as master bedroom with king bed on first floor, all other bedrooms on second floor, would’ve been helpful with our planning as we had my 88 y/o mother in law with us and she had to use the master bedroom on the first floor because she could not get up the stairs to second floor. Couples had to use the smaller beds upstairs. The bed in the master bedroom, although lovely, was also very tall, making it very difficult to get in and out of for her. The A/C also did not work in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Although small fans were provided, it was still warm and it wasn’t even summer yet. There was also not enough clean linen in the upstairs bathrooms. As far as communication, the host responded immediately when we had difficulty getting the key from key box but there was no response when I inquired about the Wi-Fi. Although our stay was adequate, there is room for improvement. This would be a great property for younger guests who don’t mind navigating stairs and are ok with limited options for food and entertainment.
