Cute place! Terrible furniture!

The positives: This place was super cute! Nice layout, within walking distance of the beach, dining, shopping, etc. Communication was good, getting in & out was easy, nice off-street parking. Plenty of clean towels, nice bedding, & a good sized kitchen. Just the right size for my family of three our 20lbs pup. The negatives: The furniture was AWFUL! Tiny, uncomfortable couches, too small to lay on, too hard to sit comfortably on, just 10/10 bad. The mattresses were also too firm, but nothing a pillow top couldn’t help with. My husband literally said, “There’s no where comfortable to sit in this place.” Overall we enjoyed our stay! But I would never consider returning unless they replaced those couches.

Garage Sale Quality Furniture—Super Uncomfortable!!!

The good thing is this unit is 2 blocks to the beach. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. However… We are two women over 70 and it was unacceptable and unsafe for our age group. Most uncomfortable living room furniture I have ever sat on. That and the bed threw my back out. It says it has an amazing view. There is no view. The slider to the patio is super hard to open and patio is bare and ugly. It doesn’t qualify as a back yard. It’s all concrete. The back gate does not work either. The tub is super slippery and bath mat is old, nasty and doesn’t stop slipping. It is dangerous. The place looks like it was furnished at garage sales with stuff from the 70s. Kitchen table is not even close to level. Neighbors upstairs had rowdy kids who stomped on the ceiling at 6 am. For this price I should have stayed in a dog friendly hotel with an ocean view.

Great location

Great location to beach and downtown Pismo. Spacious area with well stocked kitchen that met our needs perfectly. The outside patio area wasn’t very welcoming, but was perfect for our furry friend to hang out in. Will definitely stay here again when visiting our daughter at Cal Poly.

Great location, great communication

Great communication from property manager. Property was clean. Great location within walking distance of beach and main street. Only slight fixes would be creaking doors and a very creaky bed.

Central location

Close to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. Quiet building and comfortable living space, well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils. Master bed was uncomfortable - hard mattress and very squeaky frame. We woke each other up every time one of us rolled over. Outside space has potential but currently not a very inviting space to sit. We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome place

This cozy little place was perfect for our little family. Walking distance to amazing food and beach, bonus dog friendly too. Our dogs and toddler had the best time on the beach. Can’t wait to go back.

Great Location. Minutes to the Beach

Great Location. Only a few minutes walk to the beach/Pier. Walk to restaurants and a great Donut shop, Surfside Donuts. Kitchen was well appointed. Had everything we needed to make an easy dinner. House was very clean, beds were comfy. Parking spot was great but there was plenty of street parking when we were there. Small but private outdoor space.

Great beach vacation

Excellent place to stay in Pismo Beach. House was clean and met our needs for our vacation. The best part was being able to bring our dog. In the past we’ve stayed at beach hotels on the CA coast and you can’t leave your dog in the room. With this place we were able to bring our dog along with us for all of our daytime excursions and we were able to enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant in the evening leaving our well-behaved dog at the house. Great vacation!

Please fix a few things for your guests

We checked in Feiday January 13th around 1130pm. The place was very cold, I turned on the gas wall heater. By 1230 the carbon monoxide detectors were going off. I turned off the heater and opened some doors. We finally got into the queen bed...please please replace this. And about 330am another carbon monoxide detector was going off. We found it in the desk drawer in the living room. My advice is please provide space heaters in each room and tell guests not to use the gas heater on the wall. We had to borrow electric blankets from my brother in law and had no heat. This all would cost less than $500 dollars and would have made the stay really nice. The unit was really close to the beach and restaurants. We do appreciate the stay. Please have the property manager go and turn on the gas heater until the carbon monoxide detectors go off, it's truly unaafe

TV and heater did not work. Nice location, very basic house, felt like it was furnished from the goodwill. We did not spend much time in the property, had family close.

Beach Trip

Nice little place

Nice place great communication with property manager about the cleanliness of the house. My biggest complaints are leaking fridge, microwave needs replaced and the queen bed needs replaced.
