I stayed in a room with partial ocean view. They put me in a room that was right next to construction / renovation , and the construction / renovation blocked half of the partial view. Location was good and the breakfast was okay.

Fantastic location! The views are amazing. You can walk thru all the other hotelsat the cliff, and make it to the beach. A short 90 step down to it, bit rocky ad you get into it but a great walk after. We had an incredible time here. The sunsets and sunrises were quite special, the ocean mist covering the town was magical. Perfect for families.

I love the views from this hotel. It is a nice walkable area within walking distance to many restaurants and not too far from the pier area. We stayed here last year over New Years Eve and they were just starting to implement a “paid parking” system , which is fine, i don’t mind that , but they also did away with the “welcome coffee station ‘ in the lobby. That is a problem for me. It is a simple thing that hotels can do to make guests feel welcome ,and taking that away means i did not step foot into the beautiful lobby during my entire stay ! There was also a BAD SMELL everywhere around the property. I’m not positive but it could be from the large number of pelicans that perch on the cliffs. It’s obviously not the hotel’s fault but maybe they could take steps to mitigate it because it was BAD ,as soon as you stepped out of your room it was a horrid smell. All things considered i would STILL probably stay there again as i have family in town and i really love the area. ;-)
