Propriété tropicale fermée, appelée Eclipse Condos, avec un charmant condo mexicain sur la 5ème avenue et à 2 pâtés de maisons de la plage de Mamitas, la meilleure plage de Playa del Carmen. Professionnellement remodelé et décoré, de nouveaux meubles et décor lumineux pour se sentir comme "à la maison" au Mexique. Notre condo / appartement est de 1100 pieds carrés avec des plafonds de 10 pieds, 2e étage, dans un immeuble de seulement 9 appartements. Privé, bien aménagé et idéal pour un week-end ou toute une vie. Il y a un balcon tropical privé donnant sur une piscine et une petite piscine dans notre complexe qui est en fait un cenote, et vous vous sentez toujours en sécurité pour marcher le long de la 5e avenue ou jouer au magnifique Club Mamitas où pour quelques dollars vous pouvez louer une plage parasol et chaises longues pendant une journée pendant que les serveurs vous apportent de la nourriture et des boissons et vous pouvez écouter la musique jouée tout l'après-midi pour les amateurs de plage et les baigneurs. L'eau et la plage sont magnifiques, le sable est doux et blanc et propre, l'eau est calme et claire et l'environnement est à couper le souffle pour le plaisir, la romance ou tout simplement pour se détendre. Les locations de sports nautiques sont à quelques pas. La chambre principale a un lit king-size avec salle de bain complète privée, et la deuxième chambre a deux lits jumeaux qui peuvent être convertis en un roi, avec une deuxième salle de bain complète carrelée de couleurs vives. La cuisine est complète, laveuse / sécheuse incluse, tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour organiser le ménage, ou peu importe, il suffit de vous promener pour trouver de la nourriture incroyable dans la 5e Avenue! La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 personnes et toutes les assiettes, couverts, etc. sont fournis. Le salon dispose de 2 nouveaux canapés entièrement en cuir. Internet sans fil, télévision grand écran dans le salon et télévision dans la chambre principale, avec câble et compte Netflix invité disponibles, le tout gratuitement. Nous avons un excellent gestionnaire immobilier bilingue sur place la plupart du temps (elle est accessible par téléphone lorsqu'elle n'est pas sur place), un homme de maintenance à temps plein, des femmes de ménage professionnelles et un gardien de sécurité 24 heures sur 24 juste devant notre porte à l'hôtel juste en face de la rue. Pas de soucis! La climatisation est excellente et les ventilateurs de plafond dans toutes les chambres. Conclusion: vous êtes à quelques pas de la nourriture, des plages et des magasins incroyables et amusants, mais votre condo est calme la nuit et vous pouvez dormir paisiblement! Une de mes choses préférées: vous êtes à 1/2 pâté de maisons du plus grand et du plus beau Starbucks que j'ai jamais vu, et à quelques pas de restaurants incroyables - italien, maya, français et bien sûr mexicain authentique. Pour le plaisir, vous pouvez descendre la 5e Avenue jusqu'au centre de la ville et prendre un court ferry pour l'île de Cozumel et y passer la journée. Notre condo a un parking gratuit pour votre voiture de location, et nous louons normalement une voiture quand nous venons, bien que la plupart du temps nous marchons partout.

Great location

This property is in a great location, just off 5th Ave, and is in a somewhat quieter area than that south of Constitution, while being a comfortable walk to that area. Additionally, it is within a 10-15 minute walk to the beaches off Calle 72 and 88. The unit itself is well apportioned with a washer/dryer which is a luxury when staying more than a week or so, which I have done twice, 3 and 4 weeks respectively. Are, the property manager is responsive to your needs, for example a ceiling fan was inoperable and was repaired within 24 hours of my notification.

Description of property was very misleading

The listing was not accurate at all, in my opinion. We were not satisfied at all with the place. I don't think you could call their pool a pool. It was very small in the entrance of the condo place, surrounded by trees which left it dark and gloomy. No place to get sun no room for chairs or to relax. First downfall when you have kids with. The room itself, was okay but dated. Felt like you were in a dungeon, no sun came through the few windows it had and when you looked out any given window, there were walls to look at, very disappointing. The balcony?? Looked out to a wall. I did not feel like I was on vacation, that's for sure. No sunlight, dark, gloomy, dungeon feeling. A dog from another condo decided to crap on our door mat in front of the door. I addressed my concern on day 1. The owners need to be transparent with the property as the description of the place was VERY misleading. After day one, we decided to find somewhere else to say and the owner would not reimburse us for the next 5 days. SUPER, SUPER disappointed. Would not recommend. The picture they have of the beach with umbrellas etc....was a 10 minute walk

Not quite the perfect condo

Two bedroom unit in an old building, with no direct lighting from outside but a great location w little noise unless the neighbours kids have a party which they did our last night until 11pm. All windows look at walls, the apartment is very dark as per previous reviews. Good bed, good AC, TV very difficult to use w no instructions. Main shower good , master bedroom shower poor, took forever to get hot water. Full kitchen, Nice balcony but surrounded by walls w a very unsafe railing that should have been replaced years ago. Good value for two couples if darkness isn’t a problem. not so much single couple. Felt claustrophobic, with all windows and doors barred. Locks getting in and out a pain. Pool is more like the size of a hot tub and cold. We did not use. We would not rent again.

We loved our stay

The property was accurately described and so close to the beach it was superb… all amenities were super close and we loved the proximity to the grocery stores and Walmart…if you are looking for a pool, this one is only for a dip and cooling off after the beach….not a lap pool. Wifi was great and the kitchen well equipped. Would stay again. We stayed for 30 days.

Heart of the action!

The pictures don’t do it justice! This place is SO MUCH MORE prettier than expected 😍 and it feels like a home.. we stayed at 3 different places during our vaca and this was the only place that was comfortable enough that you could just flop down after a long day of shopping or beaching and flip on the tv just like ya do at home. It was great! And, even though you are literally right spack in the middle of all the action, it was quite! I couldn’t believe it, I mean of course there’s music that you can hear but it wasn’t bothersome at all, I actually didn’t notice it until my bf said he wanted to go find it, lol. Check in & out was effortless and the property manager is an absolute sweetheart, not to mention the owners are the kindest people ever! I just can’t say enough great stuff about this place, there’s gelato right across the street, you have to try the lime basil 😁 amazing, and the beach is so close, I spent most of my time shopping but there’s just so much to see and do and you are right there in it, lol. Oh yeah and they had a huge jug of drinking water in the kitchen which was really nice, everything was spotless and there’s even a little balcony in the master bedroom that I didn’t even know about until we got there… All in all this place is the perfect place to stay for anyone, family, friends, whatever it was GREAT!!!!!

Playa del Carmen is fun and with this apartment you are in the heart of the action but off 5th avenue so not too loud when trying to sleep. Pool is small but refreshing, beach is 5 minute walk. Great for group on a budget. Apartment had two bathrooms which was key. There are stairs to the apartment as it is on second level. Thanks!

Better than Imagined

It felt like a home away from home. Clean unit with everything you need to make meals. 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minutes to Starbucks and restaurants on 5th Ave. 10 minutes to Super Chedraui. I stayed alone but felt safe here. There is a police presence as they patrolled on foot or by car. My only recommendation is to provide clearer check-in information. I was tired after traveling all day and the PM gave cryptic messages on how to get the keys. Also the pool attracts mosquitoes so invest in spray. They will greet you on the stairs and will eventually end up in the unit. I had to sleep with spray on to avoid waking up with bites.

Fun Getaway

We had a great time at the condo. Aracelia the property manager was very responsive as was Julie the owner. 5th Avenue is basically right outside your door so it offers easy access to all the great restaurants and shops Playa Del Carmen has to offer.

Perfect location

The condo was very clean and satisfied our every need. The location was a 5 minute walk to the beach, 5-10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and shops, and a 20 minute walk to the ferry to go over to Cozumel. The people are friendly and we felt safe. Ara, the property manager was very kind and helpful. She picked up a few things for us before we arrived, provided us with places to eat, which were affordable and very good and she was there when ever we needed her. Thank you for helping make this 3 week vacation fun and relaxing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at eclipse condo. perfect location mins from the beach and steps to 5th street. Starbucks every morning and a short walk towards 32 street for the best breakfast: scram eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes, potatoes and sweet crepes. After a day at the beach, back to the hideaway, dip in the alkaline cool pool to rinse off the day. Coming back and this is my place to stay! Perfect!!! Dave

The apartment is great for what you pay, excellent location, right off 5th St. The only disappointment I got is that when we get to the apartment the WiFi wasn't working, and my son have to do some school work, and got fix 2 days later, probably because it was on a peak season in Mexico the manager never respond to calls or emails, so communication was very bad, the owner Julie is very nice and try her best however she doesn't provide much information on the apartment rules, we didn't know what to do with the garbage, there was no dumpsters in the complex, we figured out 3 days later that you have to put it out on the street, at least is what we did, other then that, is great we really enjoy our time in Playa del Carmen

Beautiful condo, wonderful location!

The condo was the perfect size for our family of four which consisted of my husband, and two teen girls, 15&17. The location was everything! We didn't need to rent a car because everything was basically within walking distance. Check-in was also pretty smooth. However, if you're bringing luggage, take note that there is no elevator and the condo is on the 4th floor, and the staircase is winding and narrow. So pack light! My only complaint is that on the third day, we had to toss one tissue roll back and forth between our bathroom and our daughters'. The rolls that were in each of the bathrooms at check-in were not full new rolls. and there was only one extra roll of toilet paper in one bathroom only. When I texted the property manager for extra toilet paper, she replied back 4 hours later saying we need to buy our own paper, and then had the audacity to tell me to let her know if we are leaving early on checkout day. Otherwise, this was a great condo. I would definitely stay here again!

I am not sure why people are giving good review for this property! Very misleading description!

The listing states that there is a pool: it is a very small "pool" in a very dark garden with nowhere to sit. The place itself is clean and big that is the only positive part. The worst part is that it is SUPER dark, it is like a dungeon! There are walls in front of every window! It states that there is a balcony well again there is a big window right in front of it! I felt claustrophobic in this place and had to turn all the lights on at all times when I was there. So much for being at the beach and seeing the sun! Another thing is the super narrow stairs so if you have a big suite case good luck! The owners need update the misleading description they have on the site as to the balcony and the pool etc... the only good thing is the location but beach itself is one of the most expensive one for chairs etc. in playa... Trust me you can find better than this place.... Super disappointed!

Perfect for our little family!

Wow, super stoked we found this place! It’s not even a block off 5th Ave (busy and fun walking street) and the beach was only blocks away. We were there everyday enjoying the sun and playing in the waves. We tried a bunch of restaurants around us, one of our favorites was Pik Nik on 10th and 26th. We walked to the mega and got groceries, so we were set on making breakfast and lunch at the casa. There’s a little park down the street that we play soccer with our kid at. It’s dirt, but we loved it! The bed is comfy. We unpacked all our stuff into the closets as we were there for 9days, just worked great! Showers are nice and hot! We did Landry as needed. We will be back!! Super safe and super perfecto!! Gracies Araclie (property manager! Thank you Julie!!!

Great time enjoying Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Tulum.

Nice two bedroom condo, great a/c & refreshing pool. Neighborhood is safe. Food on 5th Ave is excellent. Beaches of Tulum our favorite. Araceli (manager)is very friendly & helpful. If you enjoy the ruins we found it best to rent (Avis on the corner) a car & do the ruins on our own. Cabs, "Colectivo" & buses were all good.

Very nice condo. Prime location!

We've been traveling to the Riviera Maya area for more than 25 years, and Playa Del Carmen is among our favorite beach towns. And staying in Julie's beautiful, well-appointed, and very well cared for condo was a delight! The unit itself is part of a very small condo property of only 7 units, perfectly located between famed 5th Avenue and Playa Mamita's. We usually rent a car when we come down so we can venture out of Playa and explore other beach towns. This time however, we really wanted to just 'hang out,' so we did not rent a car and walked everywhere! The unit is the perfect size, beautifully decorated, and I absolutely loved the high ceilings! The layout is also perfect for small families like ours. The condo is very nicely updated, clean, and well-appointed. There is plenty of kitchen gear, a perfect amount of bathroom and beach towels, nearly new washer and dryer, and great remote-controlled air conditioning units in every room. All of the furniture -- from the leather sofas to the dining room chairs to the beds -- was comfortable. But most importantly the owner Julie and the property manager Ara were such a pleasure. Both were incredibly friendly, responsive, informative, and super organized (which is a huge plus for me, because I'm sort of an organizational nut!). Exterior features of the property include a very, very small pool that didn't see much use. But because we're beach lovers, we rarely use the pools at the properties we stay at, so this was not a problem for us. I should note that this unit is on the 2nd floor, and the stairs can be a bit precarious. They're narrow and somewhat uneven, and I joked with my husband that it felt like we were climbing a treehouse every time we went up. And one other note, there is construction going on directly behind this development, and therefore there is not much of a view from the master bedroom balcony. The construction work generally begins promptly at 8:30AM and ends at dusk, but since we spent most of our days away from the unit and out on the beaches, we generally had no issue with construction noise. By nightfall, all was quiet (with the exception of the occasional late-night laughter from vacationers at a nearby development, but that's what vacations are for!). Overall, this was a wonderful condo in a prime location for a fantastic price! And our thanks go to Julie, and especially Ara, who made our stay that much more special by being so helpful and kind.
