Convenient location to visit Xplor. Good dining options, delicious food and friendly staff. However regarding guest service, I had to wait 4 hours (and make multiple phone calls) to receive towels. Not enough towels for the whole family. I found the room quite dusty.

The staff was friendly, but the food was very average. It was a large resort with lots of animals running around it, which was nice. I was disappointed that the coffee shop was an extra expense and the alcoholic drinks were very bitter.

The first room had a non-functioning toilet and sink, and there was no hot water. We were moved to a second room that didn't have air conditioning. The front desk staff were very rude. The beach bar was terrible, and there was only a small area to swim; everything else was closed. They also double charge for the Xcaret Park even if you stay at the hotel. I will never come back here—stay away!

Loved the location, the grounds are beautiful. Stunning use of nature and enjoyed the resident animals. So convenient to Xcaret Park, able to walk next door to the park and enjoy something new every day instead of trying to see everything in one day. Dining options were plentiful...however, the food wasn't as tasty as it could have been.

This resort has great pools but also a sandy cove that is safe and full of fish for snorkeling. The pool by the ocean is so unique! It was our favorite spot. We loved watching all the deer, coatis, and spider monkeys. Loved the location next to Xcaret.

Over all beautiful property. Landscape was detailed felt like I was in Italy. The wild life really made the trip from the parrots to the monkeys and everything in between. The rooms were outdated and very small balcony’s however it just kept us out more. We requested a king size bed but received 2 double's. Food was good, a little miss communication as room service was xtra as well as the coffee shop and Ice cream which was very upsetting for us. We were also told after booking 3 restaurants we could only book 2 more… I was not happy about that. We hung out at the adults only pool most of the time which was under construction ( adding swings) kinda noisy but beautiful improvement. I felt I had to figure out everything, no real guidance and wifi was down for a day so that wasn’t fun trying to maneuver. We booked with Expedia and our transfer was not included. We found that out at the airport so it was an expensive taxi ride but no fault to the hotel.
