Blaxland's Cottage, is a little piece of history which has recently been lovingly restored to its former glory. Once the old cellar door, this historic cottage along with the Broke Estate Vineyard homestead are the basis of some very interesting reading! Gregory Blaxland was commissioned to find 'The Great North Road' for the colony of Sydney and passed through Broke in 1816. His brother John was later granted the land where the Blaxland family built the cottage around 1890. The Blaxland's were awarded the first medal for wine sent to London from Australia! This lovely cosy cottage is perfect just for 2 or a small group of up to 4 guests.
