Great hotel with pet-friendly policies
My family and two dogs stayed overnight on Christmas Eve. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel, grounds, and room were in great condition. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast quality was higher than what other hotels offer as their included breakfast. We were a short drive from downtown Savannah, and the lower cost of bringing our dogs was a factor in our choice. We also avoided additional parking costs that are common at downtown Savannah hotels. We will definitely stay here again.

We reserved a King deluxe room and because we arrived at 8:30pm all that was left was a room with the noise of I95. We also had to wait on line for 10 monitor check in due to one employee working. Couldn’t comfotsnky adjust room temp despite asking for help On phone. Very small uncomfortable pillows for a king bed.. unimpressed with breakfast food and food quality.

My wife and I were in town to share the Advent Christmas holiday with family in Savannah, as they were with us in PA for Thanksgiving. Last time we were there, we stayed at Cottonwood Suites, across the street, which at the time was ehh. Good enough to sleep and keep your eye on Christ while looking at your GPS tracker on your car. But overall, The Drury Hotel was absolutely amazing. Staff was extremely polite and welcoming. Everyone spoke and greeted my as I came to and fro. My wife ended up having a MAJOR allergy attack from my family’s German Shepard and she remained in the room all week. But she stated that it was extremely quiet and peaceful while she recovered in enough time to drive back to PA. Though we did not have an opportunity to take advantage of the complementary services and snacks provided, neither the pool or hot tub, gym or restaurant. But we will definitely be returning in the coming days to stay.

The woman at the front desk was exceptional - I wish I had asked her name. She was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is very nice and clean. I’ve historically stayed at Hampton Inns but have been disappointed recently and wanted to try somewhere new. This hotel exceeded our expectations!

Location for our purpose of visit was on the spot. Warm breakfast and dinner included bonus. Clean room. The only negative, slippery bathroom floor when wet. Can be tricky. Overall, happy and restful stay. We shall return.

Upon arrival, we found out that there was only one working elevator for this somewhat newly constructed hotel. I picked this location due to the location and Drury’s reputation. The fitness room is basic with a couple of machines and some dumbbells. They do offer you three alcoholic drinks but it’s between the hours of 3-5pm. Due to one working elevator for this reasonable sized hotel, we spent 15-20 min waiting to use it. Our last day here, the second elevator stopped working. Everyone was forced to carry all their luggage down the stairwell. Due to health reasons, this was difficult for me. None of the staff helped any of the guests during this time and seemed everyone was checking out due to it being a Sunday. I had to help an elderly woman down the stairs due to her using a cane and didn’t want her to fall. I feel the hotel should have advised of this issue on their website as I would have stayed at another hotel for convenience and physical comfort. Also, there a daily charge for pet stays that isn’t refunded, which I feel is awfully high considering my dog didn’t make a mess in the room during our stay. Parking is limited if you get back late due to trucks taking up two spots to prevent anyone from parking next to them.
