We reserved last minute and wanted to check in early. The host was very responsive and accommodated us super well. We got a parking space that could piggyback 2 small cars. We were glad because there was no space on the street. Pretty good neighborhood. Felt safe. Easy to find with Google Maps. Check in was fine- after we figured out the lock. Enter code-press top button-TURN THE LOCK MECHANISM. Was clean. Needs a check in book with info. Had to text for wifi login. Super poor connection. Used my hubby's hot spot the whole stay. Was grateful for the washer/dryer. But, no detergent. Was surprised there was no dishwasher. But, it wasn't stated in the listing. Neither was a hair dryer. So, my bad. The beds were just mattresses on the floor. But, comfortable enough. No dressers and only a few hangers in the 2 bedrooms. Bedroom #3 is a garage turned bedroom-no closet or beside table-only a pic on the wall. The shower was remodeled nicely! But, no counter space or shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. No hand towels. No hand soap. No body wash. There was one heating unit in the living room. The bedrooms were quite cold. The fridge was brand new (still packaging on all shelves) and amazing. The stove/oven was nice. Would have been nice to have some hot pads and a cookie sheet or casserole dish to use. The kitchen was sparsely supplied with cheap stuff. But, I guess there was enough to survive. Cute little turf back yard. Close enough to walk to the beach in 10 minutes. It was a rocky beach. But, it was a beach. There were a few issues with the quality of the place that might make me think twice next time I am in town. But, if they are addressed, then, for the price and the kindness of the host, it would be ok.
