We four seventy-ish women friends since college meet different places annually just for pure pleasure. Indian Pass, with this beautifully designed home near the tip of it, was our best choice yet: ocean in front and a lagoon in back to give us extraordinary views and beach access. The kitchen is modern and perfect for a group, though we found eating out at local fresh seafood restaurants irresistible. The best is merely 5-10 minutes away.
With easy access to kayaking, Port St. Joe’s and Apalaochicola, Indian Pass is perfectly situated, and off the highways, no traffic noise at all. Its beach is clean fine sand, and the water was warm. Birding right out front was excellent. One of my favorite aspects was the beautiful short berm of native live oak and other trees just out the front with a walkway over it to the beach, yet the beach in view. Just gorgeous!
