Excellent boutique hotel
Marvellous stay in excellent boutique in the heart of Porto's old town. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great and the honesty bar is a neat extra. I recommend the place very highly.

Amazing service and balcony views
Our stay here was amazing. The staff makes you feel like a 5 star guest, service was awesome. They sat down with us every evening to take our breakfast orders, refilled our individual water pitchers and left truffles every night, and kept the key while we went out (someone will answer the front door for you, reception is 24 hours). Room was spotless, and our balcony view on the fifth floor was phenomenal! Large, comfy bed, great shower, robes and slippers. Really cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful property and location. However, the room was very humid and would need the help of a dehumidifier. Also, the WC area is not private at all. The door is a see through glass door with a small frosted area. This made it very uncomfortable to use the bathroom with a travel partner in the room. The glass door looks good but certainly not ideal. Because of this alone, I would not return as I think all of their rooms had toilet privacy issues.

The most expensive place we stayed on a 3-week car trip in Portugal and Spain, this hotel was well worth its price. It is a beautifully restored elegant old property with extraordinary attention to detail in both form and function. It was memorable and made Porto special for us.

A jewel in Old Town Porto! Beautiful , clean and service was impeccable. So special! They go above and beyond and breakfast with silver and china was such a European touch .. bar and library in living room with cozy fireplace ! Location convenient to everything! Highly recommend!!

Such a unique and beautiful hotel. The setting is perfect for walking to all of the local attractions. surrounded by amazing restaurants and shops but the noise can’t be heard from your room. Staff at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay special, and the rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable We really couldn’t ask for any more in terms of service. The only tiny niggle for me was breakfast- I would have preferred a wider selection of cooked foods and a little more space in the dining room. In spite of this, I would happily return to this stunning hotel

M Maison Particuliere was a great choice for us as new visitors to Porto, being centrally located for most of the attractions we wanted to visit including the port producers, river boat trips, tramcars and so on. Excellent service with smiling, courteous and efficient staff, plus large, comfortably furnished room and comprehensive breakfasts. I think we'd be very likely to book again when we're next in the city.

If I could give M Maison Particuliere 6 stars, I would. This place is indescribable - an oasis of tranquility and luxury on a busy street in the heart of historic Porto. What made the place magical, beyond the carefully curated ambience of a fully restored 15th century mansion, was the amazing staff that tended to your every need and made you feel like a guest in their home instead of a guest in a fancy hotel. We absolutely loved this place, possibly even more than Porto itself, and it's given us a reason to return to rediscover its charms. Can't recommend this place with enough enthusiasm. Stay here and experience your own magic.

We absolutely loved everything about this boutique hotel. It is so beautiful and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is perfect, conveniently in middle of everything yet the minute you step inside there is immediate quiet and calm. We would absolutely stay here again.

Don't hesitate for a minute. If you are coming to Porto, stay here! It was just a stunning place, full of lovely aesthetic details, in the best location for waking around, the bed and bedding made it feel like sleeping on a cloud, but the staff are the best of all!
