“Free” treatments at silver level do not exist!
4th floor the roof takes up half the room so we both bashed our heads numerous times getting in and out of bed! The silver members “deal” included 2x25min treatments - we were told when we arrived that actually we’d get 30mins free in sauna, which was fine. We noticed sauna is 15E for 60mins… Anyway, booked in sauna for one evening. Came down ready and looked where she told us, in a side room with tiny gym and some locked doors & oops the girl we booked it with hadn’t set it up. It was “used for storage and hadn’t been cleaned”. The 2x25min “treatments at spa” were an influence on why we chose here and we didn’t even get a sauna! Also we had breakfast just 2/4 mornings- I read the reviews here and disagree, it wasn’t good. We both felt rubbish after the runny eggs. Enjoyed the tea and pastries though but preferred going out for lunch and missing breakfast at hotel. Oh ye, pillows were lumpy & duvet tiny. Asked for king, got twin so if you really want king apparently you really need to call in advance. Definitely wasn’t a 4 star. Disappointed mainly with the non spa treatments, the rest we can get over cos we weren’t in the room loads.

Wonderful spot. The hotel is older but has charm. Our room was LARGE and comfortable. The tram line ran right below our window but really wasn’t an issue. Located across from the major tourist center and surrounded by nice restaurants and local shops. The park across the street afforss a lovely view of Prague and a nice place to walk.

Great traditional hotel right where you want it - a couple of minutes from Charles Bridge, and right on the end of tram 20 which goes to the airport (plus bus 59). Very large and comfy room, spotlessly clean, and a surprising good breakfast. Reception was warm and welcoming, however the bar was somewhat less 'embracing'. Great base for Old Town, New Town, Castle, and Charles Bridge Prague 1 area. Prague is terrific in early December! Great food throughout the whole town.

Hotel Roma – no sharks please!
Our hotel experience was amazing, everything was great! But – the shark in the tank was a shocker. We were told that the shark's been there for over 7 years swimming in a tiny tank, and that the hotel received many complains about it. That's cruel and does not add to the appeal of a beautiful hotel. Replace with fish!!

Great location, Altynbek was great, checked us in at reception was helpful with giving us directions to places to visit, so was the evening receptionist. The breakfast was good. The gym was clean and neat. Rooms were decent size. Only downside was the walls were too thin you can hear the drainage especially in the mornings. Lots of restaurants around, tram stops outside the hotel. Very walkable city.

A lovely hotel with large spacious rooms. It was a bit of a walk to town but Prague is a very walkable place and we appreacted it being about 15 min walk from both the castle and old town in either direction. Staff was friendly and helpful and there was a good selection for breakfast

Very nice location and easy to walk to the city. The surrounings at this side of the river is also very nice. The hotelroom was ok but very noisy. You hear when your neighbour take a shower. Friendly staff and good breakfast!

The hotel was in an excellent location and the room was affordable and comfortable. The noise from the footfall above us was very loud, though limited to waking hours. The breakfast was ok. I felt very sorry for the shark in the lobby aquarium.

A taste of Italy in Prague
Very nice hotel. I was greeted with a complimentary bottle of chilled Prosecco. In my room were two bottles of sparkling water. The breakfast buffet was very good. I was offered a free hour in the sauna, but my schedule did not let me get there. After eating only Czech food for the past week, I found a nice Italian restaurant less than a block away from the hotel.

Pleasantly surprised! For the price it was quite nice. Service was good, check-in went smoothly, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice and all important the baked goods were fresh! Two small negatives were the T.V didn't have even one english station and the plumbing from the rooms next door was pretty noisy. Would stay again, though:))

Great hotel try to avoid staying lower floors
Great location for everything just away from all the hustle and bustle, breakfast was nice good choice from hot and cold, nice and clean hotel very spacious only down fall try and avoid staying lower floors and can be very noisy with people dragging the chairs in there room and the sound coming through the ceiling and also when toilets are flushed or shower is on above sounds like it’s raining between the walls, maybe some coasters or something on the bottom of the chairs would help we spoke to a few that unfortunately were also on the first floor who had the same problem, was a nice hotel tho in a great location
