Overall, it was a nice stay at this cabin.
Here are some things I think future renters should know.
Propane fridge worked great. There is a small freezer too.
Definitely off grid so plan accordingly. Propane lighting throws a lot of heat so you probably don't want to use them in the hotter months. Solar power is not always working. The one outside outhouse is shared by all campers.
Both cabins on property are not cleaned or linens changed between guests. Our cabin had dirty floors and stove. The other cabin had 3 separate guests come on different nights and use the same bed linens.
Instructions say to sweep floors and make beds. . . Why would I make a dirty bed?
Because I brought my dogs, I did a lot of cleaning before I left.
I think people should know that there are cameras on trees facing the cabin.
Plenty of deer flies and mosquitoes, so bring repellant. Lots of nature sounds in the evenings - frogs, owls and coyotes.
Because second cabin is hard to find, be prepared for lost renters to bother you.
