I spent a couple of days in the resort, and it was such a great experience. The staff were really nice and attentive to our needs. Sucre and Ricardo helped us with our breakfast service, and they were so friendly and attentive to us, helping us and treated us great. Had a couples dinner and the food and service were amazing, only downside was that there were a lof of mosquitoes but the staff went to look for bug spray for us to use as soon as we got there. So overall i would get that service again. I really liked how the pool went through the resort. We would leave our room and go straight to the pool.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. The grounds are immaculate. Main lobby areas and restaurants are beautiful. The pool is the best feature as it stretches almost the entire length of the property and is steps away from every room. No fighting for chairs or a peaceful spot. The service was great with an occasional bad apple. The ladies at Costa Azul in the morning and afternoon were so sweet. The concierge and bartenders at the Alltra club were super helpful and Anna kept our bellies full with yummy bites and sweet treats. She shined kindness every time we bumped into her. Servers (Esteffan) at Brassas and Costa Azul were very attentive and eager to please, and the evening hostess always greeted us with a smile. Sips, checkin/out and Cocobar were stellar. Honestly, we only had a handful of less than great interactions. Our only complaints revolved around food quality and our room. Food was not to the standard we expect at a resort of this caliber. There were exceptions (Costa Azul, Alltra Lounge, hibachi at Uni)and food was much better through the week than on the weekend. A capacity influx on the weekends made it hard for the kitchens to keep up. We certainly didn't starve, but this is an honest take. The issue with our room was due to design. We had a 1/2 closet and virtually no drawers. We were in a 2 room suite with plenty of empty wall space, but no dresser and my husband was forced to live out of his suitcase. Small matter but important. Overall, great resort.

The pool is wonderful, the facility is well maintained, few things need to be improved. Sometimes the service is slow at the restaurants. But overall we had a good time.

It was OK

The resort is very clean and beautiful, and the best thing is the staff, who are always friendly and attentive but The buffet needs a lot of improvement, The food has no flavor. It doesn't matter if you eat chicken, beef, pork, or fish, even a natural juice, smoothie, or oatmeal tastes like nothing. It either lacks sugar, salt or seasoning. Their buffet is a good fit for diabetics. Also I was very disappointed with the seafood restaurant. The menu lacks variety on the main dishes. They don't serve whole fried fish nor lobster. If you want lobster, you have to pay for it
