Beautiful property, excellent service, with few minor exceptions. Stayed at The Level, which had numerous and many unknown perks (e.g. 30 minute massages/facials each day, you could bank for longer sessions). Food was decent, not great. After 5 days it got a bit repetitive. Preferred the buffets to the a la carte restaurants.

My wife and i just completed a week stay at Melia punta cana beach resort and were Level patrons. This was our second time at this resort. Lets start with our high praise topics. The extremely large property is nothing short of stunning! Beautifully landscaped, very clean and lots of wildlife. We give the grounds a 10. The restaurants included with the level exceeded our expectations. Never had a meal that was below excellent. Service was excellent as well. We found the staff to be exceptionally well mannered, spoke well enough to understand, and our consiegerge, Wellington was awesome. The bars were good and selection of drinks were fine. The pool was huge and well kept for the most part. Not lively and loud like some resorts, but we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Be careful walking around the pool. The tiles get very slick when wet. We witnessed a few slip and falls. The beach was clean and the beach vendors were not a hassle. The rooms were kept clean and our stay in tge Level biulding one had steps to pool, bars and beach. Perfect location! We did not do anything off resort. The negatives are few, but added up to not being able to award 5 stars: 1. Rooms need renovations. Tired furnishings, bathrooms are dated, and beds a bit too firm for our tastes. Perfectly acceptable, but only 3 star accommodations. 2. Our friends that went with us had a bunch of relatively minor issues, such as a non working room phone, no towel racks or hooks.

The entire property is beautiful The staff extremely friendly The food was very good The buffet is decent but confusing Not enough restaurants, Too many up charges even being in a Level upgraded room Concierge service not consistent, Didn’t know when he worked so that was difficult to work with Room service was good when I could get it Menu says room service until 11pm but truly only till 10:30 Phone in my room never worked for entire week stay so I needed my concierge even when he was off work he had no support The site was great but not 5star as I expected Corporate ownership is bad and I probably will not go to any other Melia resort due my experience at this site The site team tried but failures I blame on bad management Running out of supplies for daily drink specials?

The experience at The Level was wonderful. The larger resort was lovely, too, but we loved the private pool and private dining and private rooftop bar of The Level. The Spa was amazing. The staff were also amazing. Very service oriented and friendly. I would for sure go back.

This is a great resort to stay in ! Mattresses were a bit lumpy; there were no vents in the bathroom so the mirrors fogged up badly after a shower, and the humidity negatively impacts the rest of the bathroom eguipment

We just retourned today from a wonderful week spent at the Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness AdultOnly Resort. Everything was amazing from the staff (Frangel at reception and our concierge Aliexia who went above snd beyond her duties for us; and so many more), the cleanliness in rooms, beach and landscape. If I had to say something that needs improvement I would have to say the quality of food and entertainement. It wasn’t bad but not the best we’ve had. We will be going back for sure! We would definitely recommend this place!!

This property is very outdated.Rooms need an upgrade ASAP! Beach is full of garbage and broken glass bottles ,plastic,condoms ,famine tampons . Hard to describe. People are nice ,but seems ,like they don’t care much .. Our asistant Alexis was great ,outstanding,she is the best … Entertaining is dead ,nobody even cares .’ Craziest thing is this property had good reviews on Expedia -I have no idea how …lol Don’t go to this resort ,or this side of Punta Cana . Go to Riu Palace -that is decent resort ,no garbage and nice ,not lazy stuff…

Melia is a beautiful resort! Good food, great and strong drinks, comfortable beds. we didn’t upgrade to Level and it was fine! The only complaint I have is the sellers harassing you on the beach. We couldn’t relax without someone trying to sell us stuff every 5 minutes.

The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful and has a lot of activities. The beach is nice but the water itself was filthy. Lots of litter in it. We were Level and definitely recommend that to take advantage of the extra restaurant, rooftop bar and concierge service and spa service. The spa was awesome and you didn’t have to have a service to use the water rituals and sauna and steam room. Our room itself was good and they keep it stocked with water, soda and some beer as well as cookies. Little outdated but they kept it clean. The resort was worth the price if the package deal we got on Expedia.
