We had an amazing vacation to celebrate our anniversary, and it was all thanks to our Concierge Buttler José Jimenez. Each day he made our vacation easy going, seamless and special with his fantastic personality, outstanding customer service and attentiveness. He always responded very quickly and was by far the most impressive staff member we interacted with. José made our experience a 5 star. The property was very clean and relaxing to be in, with grest food espcially at Blue Moon, Japanese and Italian restaurants.

We have been traveling to punta cana for years now. This is our first time at Oceans El faro. We had concerns about dinner reservations and was told that one of our 2 concierges, would take care of them. When we declined their invitation for their “welcome breakfast or lunch” , which is there way to get you to listen to their time share pitch. We never heard back from the concierge to make our reservations. Which is not a problem, but then they should not have told us that it would be made for us. The hotel ran out of beach and pool towels by certain times of the day. You also had to get to the beach early in the morning to be able to get beach chairs. For the amount you pay for the hotel, the food is ok. The service was very good We have stayed at many resorts and this was our first time and last at an Oceans hotel We enjoy staying in the Finest in punta cana, and they have an adults side. Yes, the price is a bit more expensive. But for me it is definitely worth the extra money you spend. All high end liquor is included here and the food is very good for an all inclusive.

We really enjoyed El Beso. We had a few minor issues that were remedied quickly (running toilet, safe that did not work). There are two pools on the adult side - one is more of the “party” pool and one is the “I'm just here to relax” pool. The adults only restaurants were delicious. They always asked if there were any allergens to be aware of. The buffet had the areas separated for family, adults only, and Privilege members. The staff try to upsell you to a Privilege stay when you are least expecting it. Stay away from the Lighthouse - they will try to suck you in with a timeshare. It was easy to find a chair on the beach - less easy at the pools. People rush out at the crack of dawn to reserve chairs or covered loungers - its very frustrating. They “reserve” them (even though signs say you cannot and then no one uses them most of the day. Unless you're going to lunch, buck up and let someone else use the nicer loungers. The check in and check out processes were smooth. The staff were all very friendly. Randy (at El Mercado) and Ramon (at Blue Moon) were incredibly friendly. There was a bartender at the party pool who was also entertaining. The housekeepers and refreshment team were very kind and checked in daily. We had a rooftop hot tub room and the private rooftop was amazing - I much preferred this over a swimout roof.

It was a beautiful and clean property. The upgraded room was gorgeous and spacious. However, the service did not stand out. We kept receiving different information from different staff, it was difficult to make reservations to the restaurants, and we kept being promised VIP access but never received it. We saw many other guests in the lobby complaining about similar situations.

Our week-long stay at this resort was so wonderful! Upon check-in, it butler Jose Jimenez, greeted us and each day he took such great care of us. Jose took care of booking dinner reservations for us at the a la carte restaurants, which were delicious! He was there for everything we needed in our room (fridge re-stock, burnt out light bulb on balcony... Anything!). We loved the lazy river, the lagoon, the variety of pools (each with their own vibe and crowd), the food (buffet and a la carte, but also don't miss out on the crepes at the snack shack or the burgers and fries at Ocean Burger). Mike's Cafe was wonderful and we went there almost daily. As a non-coffee drinker, their smoothies were my favorite. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking to vacation in the Dominican.

I traveled alone to Punta Cana for the first time. Jose, Javier and Juan as well as the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this to anyone. My favorite spot besides the ocean was the swim up pool bar. I can’t wait to come back.

The only 2 issues we had were: 1. There were no dining options between 11am and 12:30pm 2. Majority of the beer was draft (unless you went to lobby), in room you were only allowed 2 cans Housekeeping was fantastic, staff were very friendly and helpful for the most part, property was clean and beautiful. Suggestion - enforce no saving poolside chairs or cabanas. People were saving them the night before and when we got to the pool we were the only ones there and there were no seats available as they were all saved.

El Beso was spectacular. Nice and quiet, but lots of fun and interaction available at El Faro. I enjoyed the ability to access both properties. I liked the buffet, and Pez Dama. We're not big foodies and buffets provided better choices for me as i eat a special meal plan. Mike's coffee was the best, great service from Carolina. I enjoyed the lagoon, walking the beach, my swim up suite. The service and attention i received from my butler, Jose Jimenez was the best I've ever received. He was always available!!!! Always checking in, and also providing the results hesaid he was going to do. Incredibly nice man, always with a smile. I would be sad to return without his service. The only negative was pool ba staff, not service orientated. I think the bars and restaurants all need more cups, silverware and plates. Loved it

Great resort, no complaints. Beach area was great with the lagoon. Staying on the El Beso adults-only side was great, but I would say overall you have a lot of interaction with families. A lot of kids on the adults-only side to go to the lagoon, so didn't find the beach as relaxing as it could have been. Food and service was good, but not as stand-out as some other resorts we've been to. Rooms were excellent and very spacious. Overall, a great spot to vacation!

The whole experience was amazing and my concierge Jose was the best. He did everything to make my stay very enjoyable. My wife and I celebrated our birthdays and he pulled out all the stops to make them the most precdays for us both. El Beso Punta Cana, I recommend everyone should visit at some point. I'm glad I did

Plenty of things to do on property. You must ask and carry your own zero sugar drink, but not really a issue. Butler was awesome and will help you with everything you request. Pool and bars are very nice. Dont be cheap and Make sure to tip. It will go a long way as for service.

It was fine and very quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Lots of restaurant options. The food is good, but the beef doesn't taste like beef in the U.S. (it was the same way 5 years ago when we visited). We had a couple of maintenance issues that were addressed. The part of the beach with the break wall is was amazing and you could walk out up to your chest holding your drink and not spill it. The "Dance Club" was ear splittingly loud and played techno pop which I wasn't into. Had a great Superbowl party for the guests the week we were there with American fare- wings, pulled pork, chili dogs etc. Lastly, Johanser, our guest experience specialist attended to everything from dining reservations for our group of 11 to inviting us to an exclusive VIP dinner the first night with steak & shrimp along with entertainment and no sales pitch of any type. He was outstanding and I even contacted him on his day off and he took care of a problem we had. He is an exemplary employee who I would request next time. For any golfers out there, check out Punta Blanco for a round. "Golf Now" had it for $80 (golf, cart and lunch) and it costs $45 to rent clubs (and they were pretty nice). Cab ride to and from was $100 total for 4 guys and best of all $3.00 Coors lights on the course as U.S. domestic beer is rare in the Dominican Republic. Bring your own golf shoes, glove, balls & tees and a collared golf shirt. We had a blast!
