All of the staff I interacted with were fantastic, from the front desk to the lounge to the cleaning staff. Despite being an old motel property, the Longleaf has been nicely updated with modern amenities. The free and easy parking was a big perk for a downtown hotel. The area immediately surrounding the hotel isn't amazing, but anything you want is a quick drive or walk away.

The service was absolutely phenomenal. Very kind and attentive. The room was pretty good, our view wasn’t great and the bathroom was a lil snug but not a big deal. Everything else was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Longleaf. It was such a welcoming hotel. The retro style of the hotel is cute and clean.

Just average. No amenities other than the bar/lounge area which was the nicest part of the hotel, but not open during the day. There's no ice machine (broken). The standard room was just ok, small and musty. Overall, I felt catfished and it was not worth the price. There's nicer hotels closer to the center of town. This was not worth the price.

The updating of a 70 year ago hotel/motel style preserved the feel and created a cool-jazz kind of atmosphere. Really appreciated that. The people were very polite and helpful as well. Pet friendly a big plus. Will return.

Great stay in Raleigh
Very charming hotel within close walking distance to bars, restaurants, and other sights. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful to us first time visitors. The free coffee bar in the morning was a nice plus. We didn't get an opportunity to try out the bar, but it was very nice and had plenty of seating inside and out.
