Disliked: Cleanliness
Starting with the positives: The building and surrounding area was quiet, and I felt safe at all times. The location is terrific: at the northern edge of midtown, but also an easy walk to the downtown casinos. Lots of dining to choose from, a short walk away. The property manager was available and helpful. And friendly. Bedding was comfortable and towels were very good. The furnishings were pretty bare-boned. This is what I expected, given the price I paid. So no real let-down for me. The one issue I had was cleanliness. There had been a superficial cleaning, but there was also lots of grime pretty much all over, that has accumulated over time. The apartment really needs a thorough, detailed cleaning. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. I got what I expected, given the price.

Growing pains?
Pack light, it’s a steep 2 floor hike up to the unit! We were the first to use the unit,so there were some growing pains. We left some recommendations with the host.Building is old, so access to power is scarce and fixtures are all very old and run down. Water pressure was surprisingly good. The bed was comfortable.The unit is sparsely equipped. The neighborhood is nice and very close to downtown. Parking in the area is problematic. Expensive meters all day or parkaded a few blocks away. Building manager Pat is pleasant and available. Unit is priced too high for its current condition.
