We were looking for a home base to explore Reno for the week, and this little place did the trick.
The host is very responsive and helpful, and the house is well-stocked with kitchenware and even food items like spices and cooking oil. Sometimes when places have leftover food items, they are old and expired, but here they all seemed current and fresh (I checked the dates!).
Really appreciated the dedicated driveway for the place, because the neighborhood street is lined with cars without much room to park. While the neighborhood is not scenic or "pretty" (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), it was quiet -- even on Halloween night. Easy to navigate to from main roads.
A few things of note that might be helpful in certain cases:
- The bedroom with "two twin beds" is very small. The second bed is a trundle (under the first) and pulls out, but doesn't leave much room to walk around to reach the door. Fine for sleeping, but tight.
- The living room is arranged with the TV on a wall sideways to the couches (see property photos). If you have neck or back issues turning your head, this is not a comfortable arrangement.
- The bedroom with the queen bed stays very bright at night from the streetlights, despite the window blinds. Recommend bringing a sleeping mask if that sort of thing keeps you awake.
- The floor was cold in winter; bring slippers!
All in all a lovely stay!
