Decent stay, get the cookies!

Room was small but comfortable. Hotel is a bit outside of downtown - about a 15 to 20 min walk. Blackout shades just barely keep the room dark enough for sleep. Shower was NOT HOT. Lukewarm at best. Huge bummer when you’re freezing and want to warm up after a long day on the hill. Netflix and mini fridge were nice. Biggest perk were the fresh cookies! We ordered 3 and they baked them fresh. Ten minutes and we had ooey gooey chocolate chip cookies to enjoy in our room.

The room was nice and clean but the bed was terrible, my son and I both woke up with a sore back. We were staying for 3 nights and on day 2 I asked if we could switch rooms and the girl at the computer said all the beds were the same and there is nothing they could do. So we suffered for 2 more nights and are backs were killing us and ended up not skiing our last day because of our backs.

Ski trip

This remodeled older motel has a clean, minimalist esthetic. The room is small with wall hooks and a hanger for clothing storage. There is an in room safe. The lighting is very good. No chair or room for a chair in the room. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom lighting is less good than the room. Good shower with some spray out. Very nice shower amenities. The down side is the proximity to a busy road and the very busy train tracks. Ear plugs are recommended.

Want a hot shower after skiing? You get hot water for 5 mins then luke warm for 5 mins then back to hot and on and on. water heating issues. Small square footage room. Brand new renovation. Also make you download their VRGE App..
