We would love to have some further info on the comment made about our staff as it would be unfair to put a tag on the entire hotel team. Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to bring your feedback to our attention. We are very sorry to read that there were certain issues that caused some level of dissatisfaction during your stay with us & would like to offer our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note the hotel is not responsible for the lighting of the main road as this falls under the jurisdiction of the local municipality. Ixia is not the old area of Rhodes but the first actual tourist resort of the island. Among the benefits this part of the island has a cosmopolitan character, it is next to Rhodes town & also has a vibrant entertainment district within walking distance. We can only apologize if the area appeared tired although we do not seem to have enough feedback from the majority of our guests to suggest this. Without wishing to be unsympathetic, the hotel provided detailed information to Ebookers in regards to the unfortunate incident of the false fire alarm which lasted less than 2 hours & affected 2 floors of the hotel. We are also very sorry if you felt that the matter has not been dealt as anticipated. Our guest relations did try to follow up on the issue on your last day however this was not possible due to the do not disturb sign on your room’s door. In addition, the hotel also authorized a part compensation for this complaint corresponding to the inconvenience caused and question your statement of us having provided false information. We would also like to emphasize that the hotel is ISO certified & passes all strict health & safety audits of independent authorities. Once again thank you for taking the time to review our hotel following your recent stay;we can only apologize again at this stage for the unfortunate & isolated event of the false alarm & very much hope that you had some level of enjoyment out of your holiday in Rhodes.
