Clean comfortable well appointed hotel. Starting to look a little older, but still great. Breakfast was not good though, but bagels/toast/cereal is always an option there so doable.

smoke smell everywhere, rooms were dirty, they gave two cards to use but only one works. Drinking water smell chlorine not safe to drink. By the morning, trash will be everywhere even near the elevator. Nasty palce to live.

The pool was small whirlpool had no bubbles old tv’s one sink in the room continental breakfast had no hot water for oatmeal sausages were not cooked and the front desk person mentioned being watched on camera because kids stopped by to see my daughter even tho there was an entire volleyball tournament in the area with teenagers in and out I was told with the kids that stopped by I could be put out if they weren’t included. This made me very uncomfortable and I’ll never stay again. I’ve never had any hotel say anything about kids and this one isn’t even 5 stars at all to complain with old tv’s and old furniture in the rooms very cheap looking. I stayed at the Drury Plaza hotel not even a month ago and that was a 10 star stay!!

I didn’t like arriving at 10am after a 600 mile drive and being told I couldn’t check in. I’ve taken this trip many time and chose to stay at this hotel. I have arrived prior to 3 pm and had no problem getting into my room. This time the front desk was staffed with somebody different and this person wasn’t as friendly, courteous, or accommodating as previous staff.

Our stay at Comfort Suites At Virginia Center Commons was a complete nightmare. I had called ahead to secure an early check-in due to our 8-hour flight for my 6-year-old’s wrestling tournament, but when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. Hours later, they informed us they wouldn’t even have it by normal check-in time. When I spoke to the manager, she became unhinged—yelling, screaming, and even calling me the “B” word. When we finally got our room, it was disgusting—dirty towels, food in the fridge, and used feminine products in the trash. When I showed the front desk pictures, I was called a liar, screamed at again, and even witnessed another employee trying to calm the manager down as she berated him too. Another guest was having the same experience, and when I spoke to them, the manager threatened to kick my family out. This place is beyond unprofessional—avoid at all costs!

Pros: (1) Very convenient to food and entertainment, (2) the room was very clean, and (3)they have soft closing doors so you don't hear any doors slamming Cons: Even though I called to advise that I would be arriving late, they cancelled my reservation as a no-show, the bathroom vanity was damaged and unsightly, and when I requested a late checkout, they weren't willing to give me more than one hour

Very pleased with our stay. The deluxe room was very nice. Wifi worked great , very hot water. They had a refrigerator, iron, coffee pot, couch and two TVs. Very roomy to spread out. Also the free breakfast was good with a wide range of food. Definitely will stay here again.
