The holiday home "Alpenblick" can also be booked for less than 7 nights. But our minimum stay is like a concert ticket – even if you leave after the first song, you still pay the full price!
"Alpenblick" and Its History:
The Alpenblick was built in 1966 by the Krull family. The pond with fish stock, the private forest, and the three springs enabled a self-sufficient life back then and still do today.

Holiday home in the Southern Black Forest, surrounded by nature, with 150 square meters of living space, 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna, and a huge natural property for exclusive use, including a table tennis room and table football.
Located in the Southern Black Forest (Hotzenwald). A detached holiday home in a quiet south-facing hillside location at the edge of the forest, on a natural plot (5500 sqm) at almost 1000 meters altitude, with a fantastic Alpine panorama when visibility is good.
An ideal place for those seeking peace, relaxation, and nature lovers. Golf course, hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, and ski lifts nearby.
Where is Altenschwand and our house?
Altenschwand is a district of the small village of Rickenbach, located in the southwestern corner of Germany, not far from the Swiss border (12 km). Rickenbach belongs to the Hotzenwald, the southernmost part of the Black Forest. On the map, you will find Rickenbach near the spa town of Bad Säckingen, about 26 km east of Basel Hochrhein and 67 km from Zurich. The small hamlet of Altenschwand appears on only a few maps; it is located 2 km north of Rickenbach in the direction of Herrischried.
The house is available for you from 5:00 PM on the day of arrival, and you will be personally welcomed by the hosts. A deposit and a fee per night and pet must be paid in cash upon arrival. Upon departure and proper return of the accommodation, the deposit will be refunded minus any additional costs such as electricity, tourist taxes, and any potential damages.
