Gite in small hamlet in southern Voges
Les Glycides is a lovely well kept gite in a small hamlet up a hill form the main urban area of Guebwiller. It’s a restful getaway however it does not feel remote. The neighbourhood is charming albeit quiet. The swimming pool is a great plus. The gite is on several levels as the house is built down the slope of a hill. There are lovely views of woodland from the main south facing terrace where meals can be eaten. Cooking facilities are very good with a well equipped kitchen. Dominique and Robert had left us a lovely bottle of cremant and a traditional cake which was a nice treat on our arrival Communication with them was excellent both when booking and on the day of arrival and departure. The southern Voges is a great area for walks and the gite is well placed to take advantage of the many signposted hikes around the area.

Lovely property in quiet hamlet
Lovely well equipped property close to forest walks and mountain biking trails. Fabulous hosts, providing delicious cake, wine and jam. Pool was cleaned regularly and was a fantastic relief in the scorching weather. Ideally suited for our family of 4.

Short stay whilst visiting Tour de France
Had a relaxing time in this beautiful house. Robert was a great host and the house is gorgeous. The teenagers enjoyed relaxing at the pool and my husband and I enjoyed the cycling and walks in the countryside. Colmar is a beautiful town to visit. The house is not within walking distance of convenience stores or restaurants but there is plenty available with a short trip by car or cycle to the next village. Hopefully will return one day. Thank you Robert

Peaceful retreat in a wonderful home with all amenities
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this beautiful house in a very peaceful village. You can enjoy great walks and bike rides from the doorstep. The “ Grand Ballon” and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The house is very comfortable, is well equipped and has a fantastic pool which was a welcome respite from the very hot weather. We hope to return soon. Thank you Domingue and Robert for a memorable stay and your warm hospitality. A bientout.

Lovely home in beautiful Alsace
This could not have been a more perfect house. We all enjoyed our stay here, and Robert was kind and helpful. My relatives all live within 45 minutes of the house and we had a most wonderful reunion. Thanks Robert for the delicious kougelhopf that reminded me of my Tante's version, the bottle of wine and your thoughtfulness. We had 100 year old French Ginette with us and she appreciated your kindness towards her as well. The pool was wonderful, we had great weather and the surroundings were lovely. Cozy and quaint and quiet.
Great place, quiet, cozy in a tiny village. One in our group could hear the church bells in the night more often than was wanted but everyone else slept soundly. If it were mine, I would have directions for dishwasher, and washing machine in a language other than just French. We couldn’t get it started and finally asked a neighbor for help. But just a great place to stay.

Charming French cottage with fabulous host
This is a charming and comfortable home. Robert is the most gracious host you could imagine! The Home had all the amenities you could want. The town is very small with no services but if you have a car, everything you need is close by (within a few miles). The beds were comfortable. We were six adults traveling together and the space was great! There is a spa nearby and plenty of places for wonderful walks. Everybody around was extremely friendly but you should speak a little French! Robert went out of his way to make sure we had a great visit!

Wonderful village home.
A little gem! Robert, the owner and his family have done an outstanding job on making this old village house into something amazing. The transformation beggars belief and we got to enjoy it. Situated in a beautiful valley, with vineyards and forest, there is much to see and done in the immediate area. The weekly market at Soultz is great fun and the food at L'Aigle D'Or in Rimbach (next village over) is divine. So much more to do and see, we simply have to go back. One little annoyance was the lack of internet, which without a European phone made things a little tricky sometimes. Merci Robert et a la prochaine, j'espere.

Absolut tolles Ferienhaus in dem es an nichts fehlt!
Die Wohnung war richtig toll und liebenswert eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber, an Ausstattung war wirklich alles da was man sich nur vorstellen kann und die Besitzer waren super nett, immer zu erreichen und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt!

Ferienhaus Rimbachzell
Es war ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes und gemütliches Haus. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen und eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit gehabt. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Ort ist leider sehr klein und etwas abgelegen, so dass man alles mit dem Auto fahren muss.Im Großen und Ganzen kann ich das Objekt gerne weiter empfehlen, um den wunderschönen Elsass zu genießen.

Un superbe séjour
Un grand merci à Robert et Dominique de nous avoir accueillis dans cette ravissante maison ! La propriété est très bien équipée, tout est pensé pour qu’il ne manque rien et la décoration a été exécutée avec amour. Tout est impeccable. Tolles Haus, prima Pool
Das Haus ist wirklich schön. Alles, was man benötigt, ist da. Der Pool ist klasse! Nach den vielen schönen Ausflügen in die nähere Umgebung, war die anschließende Abkühlung im Pool super. Robert ist ein sehr netter Vermieter! Zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben, wohin man fahren könnte oder auch gut Essen gehen kann. Vielen lieben Dank dafür! Man sollte mit dem Auto anreisen. Rimbachzell liegt recht abgelegen. Doch wer sich im Vorfeld erkundigt, wird das wissen. Wir können das Haus und Robert wärmstens empfehlen! Aangenaam verblijf in rustig dorpje
Leuk authentiek huisje in een piepklein bergdorpje. Ligt op de flank van een berg en heeft daardoor 3 verdiepingen, veel trappen dus, maar dit was voor ons geen probleem. Het huisje is zeer compleet, kon misschien iets netter. Er was een heel aangenaam niet-verwarmd zwembad, perfect voor de warme zomerdagen. Wij hadden er met ons gezin van 4 alleszins een heel aangenaam verblijf. Ideaal voor wie rust zoekt. hele fijne vakantieweek.

Super fijn huis en mooi zwembad! Klein paradijs
Alles was echt perfect in de accommodatie! Het was heerlijk relaxed en je kunt hier echt even bijkomen! Met een volle koelkast kun je je prima vermaken en relaxen! In de buurt is er echter niks te doen zonder auto (minimaal 20 minuten rijden).

Schon das Haus an sich ist absolut toll. Die Raumaufteilung, die gemütliche und anheimelnde Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail und die Gemütlichkeit sind an sich schon ein Grund wiederzukommen. Die Terrasse mit dem tollen Blick über den Wald und der Pool sind absolute Highligts. Aber die großartigen Vermieter toppen selbst dies nochmal. Wir wurden wahnsinnig freundlich empfangen und bekamen neben vielen nützlichen Tipps sogar einen leckeren selbstgebackenen Gugelhupf, eine Flasche Cremant und eine Cola für den Junior. Wir wären am liebsten noch geblieben und waren ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal in diesem tollen Haus, welches keine Wünsche offen lässt.
