We chose this property based on location (dark skies) and the bedroom configuration (two adult couples). We hadn't stayed in the Rio Rico area before, and were unsure about the location, but it turned out to be ideal. It's close to birding areas, it's a pleasant drive to Sonoita for the wineries, and to the mission, Tubac, and the birding near Arivaca. There is a grocery store in Rio Rico. We loved the setting of the house: views in all directions were fantastic, and not a single car besides our own drove by the home the entire time we were there. The kitchen is well-equipped and had lots of extras we were free to use. The beds were very comfortable. We would recommend the addition of blackout blinds or drapes; both bedrooms face east and the sun rises early in late March/early April, and will be even earlier as spring progresses. We would suggest replacing the sofa--the cushions are not supportive and it's uncomfortable. A minor point, also, would be to add more wall decor. The white walls, floors, ceilings, furniture make the home sterile feeling rather than cozy and inviting, but perhaps that's just our taste. We enjoyed the outdoor areas, and the covered patio shielded us from the winds nicely. We were pleased to be able to park our car in the garage. Access to the home is on paved roads, and though they were steep in places, we had no problem as we might have had on the unpaved roads in rural areas we've rented if wet. All told, we had a wonderful stay! Thanks!
