Love love love la placita inn. Jesse who was at front desk was super helpful and kind and always helped us if we needed. He was the best! I would definitely come back for vacation again. The walk to the beach is literally a 2 minute walk but we’re also in our late 20s so take that with what you will be so amazing!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The housekeeper decorated our room for our anniversary and her efforts were very much appreciated. The music from the patio area is way too loud, although it stops at 9:30 pm. The volume is excessive and will result in hearing damage to the staff who work the evening shifts. The cost was a bargain but I would have preferred to be closer to the reef rather than a ten minute walk from where I wanted to enter the water. The pool access and outdoor showers next door were nice. I would recommend this hotel as a good, safe, hospitable accommodation for others looking for a good deal in West Bay, however I would warn them about the loud music so they know what to expect.

The restaurant on the property is good, but closed after lunch. So there was no dinner option on the property. However, there are many other options very close by, and we did visit in late October, which is considered the off-season. Rain-shower head is nice, but it is about 9 feet in the air. So, the water pressure for showering is very low. Takes a long time to rinse soap, and forever to get the oil off after a massage.

I have been to Roatan many times and this is my new favorite place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Shopping & restaurants are in front of hotel. Beach is a short walk and you can use pool and beach chairs from neighboring hotel.

Nice stay. Close walk to the beach. The shopping area with multiple stores with food and gifts was nice. Stayed on first floor and it was very loud at night due to being next to stairs and front desk. Recommend to get 2nd floor room.

The staff is super friendly. The hotel is clean and modern. Centrally located in West Bay. Easy walk to beach and all restaurants. Sister property has nice pool and lounge chairs.

Es un hotel donde lo tiene todos a tu alcance. Tiene que saber que es para hacer turismo y no para descansar “levantarte temprano” ya que el ruido de afuera no te deja descansar. Vivimos en Honduras no en USA, por ende las cosas tienen que estar en español, o en ambos idiomas. El cobro tiene que ser en LEMPIRAS no en dólares.

Overall so great! We stayed at Henry Morgan and Infinity Bay and liked La Placita better. Granted those are all inclusive places and this just had breakfast (which was super good) but I loved the coziness and staff were wonderful. La placitas bed and linens were also way nicer and more comfy. The room smelled amazing, had an overhead fan, nice air, water cooler to refill our bottles, overhead waterfall shower with great pressure, close to shopping/the beach, and their wrist band wasn't one of those hard plastic ones. I would definitely stay here again
