Overall we were pleased with booking this house. Even though there are plenty of beds (which is great), living spaces were a bit too small for the number of people that could sleep there. I have a few notes that others may find helpful to know in advance and hopefully can be enhanced for future guests.
-Poor outside lighting between the main house and bunk house. We had a few trip upon reaching the deck when walking at night and ended up falling and cutting up their knees. Bring flashlights if you plan to utilize both spaces. (Or extra bandaids)
-Beach had a lot of washed up weeds. It doesn’t appear there was much clean up maintained on the beach. We raked ourselves.
-Bedroom doors inside the cabin provide no privacy. If you have guests who want to stay up in the living room or kitchen, it’s impossible for others to go to bed as the bedroom doors are slat doors. You can hear everything and all the light shines through. I wish there were real bedroom doors.
-Steep hill from parking to the main house, there is no driveway. I wished this was clearer in the photos so we were more prepared for loading and unloading.
-Some of the furniture wasn’t in good shape, the couch legs were wobbly, the outside lounge chairs were broken so the backs didn’t stay up, and a counter stool wasn’t level because it was missing a piece on one leg.
-Bunkhouse door didn’t lock from keypad. Said it was locked but you could walk right in so it didn’t feel very safe when we left the property.
