We stayed here for a wedding and the location was perfect! Short walk to the old downtown area. The space was clean and as described. The property manager made check in and out very easy as well.
Space was old and not kept up well which i could have dealt with except that the dishes, pots and pans, silverware etc were nasty. Stuck on food, greasy etc. I wasn't interested in cooking but if I had been it was a very poorly equipped kitchen. Also, the dining chair seats were stained and torn. Only good thing was the comfortable bed.
We arrived later than expected only to find itâs a second story apartment. No problem, however, the heater didnât work. The outside temperature was 33 degrees when we arrived and 23 decrees when we woke-up in the morning. The apartment thermostat read 51. I texted the owner and expected some level (not a full) reimbursement for freezing all night long, only to be told the pilot light must have gone out. Not only is this inconsiderate, but plain flat rude. Avoid.
Nice quiet, cozy place. Neighborhood felt safe. I liked that you could see the woods in the backyard. The only input I would give is that I found hair on the bed and hair on the extra blanket provided on the bed (yuck). There was also some crusty food on some of the utensils and dishes. Other than that, nice place.
Clean, air conditioned, off street parking, walking distance to downtown, flexible management, perfect place. Just be aware the 2nd floor unit has a tight staircase climb up. If you can do that with a suitcase, it's a great place to stay. We had no problems.
Quick trip to Rock Hill for a sweet and beautiful southern wedding! This space provided all we needed plus being close to the historic downtown was an added bonus!
Only recommendation I would make would be to put some sort of black out drapery on the bedroom windows. The current broken blinds and sheer curtains allow all the outside lightening to come through so itâs almost like there is a light on in the bedroom when trying to drift off to sleepđŹ
An old, but charming apartment with everything you need including snacks, laundry facilities, spices for cooking, and full kitchen (except dishwasher). Nice amenities, extremely comfortable bed, and relatively quiet. Be aware that the steps getting up the to apartment are steep, narrow, and unlevel but manageable as long as you have no mobility issues.
The location was a few blocks from downtown main street. We enjoyed walking to Fountain park to view the water fountain display. We also enjoyed window shopping at many of the stores and stopped at the french bakery Amelias for a treat. Such a wonderful downtown. Sara was great with her communications and the home was a perfect stay for me and my husband and our pups. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at one of Sara's places. He homes never disappoint. We will be back again next year for the annual family holiday gathering in Rock Hill. Thank you Sara.
This rental was great! Itâs right down the road from Old Town and Main Street shopping area, close by the highway entrances, and plenty of food/entertainment. It has a private outdoor entrance so we never saw the downstairs renters. Great place to stay for just me and my husband.
My son and two others stayed at Sara and Tomâs apartment while they were attending training in the area and it worked out great. The apartment was clean and well stocked with the necessities. Sara and Tom were incredibly helpful! I recommend this apartment if you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in the area!
This was a cute little property that was perfect for my husband, toddler, and I. I liked the proximity to Charlotte. Also the house was close enough to Rock Hill's downtown that I was able to safely run downtown and down to Winthrop University.
