It was wonderful for our family of 21 to all stay in the same house. There were lots of spaces for us to hang out and be together but also places for us to have our own space. The host communicated well. The beach was beautiful as well!

Getaway for friends and family

Location and property were great. Lots of room and space for our group. This listing had everything. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms lots of utensils, spices, and amenities like towels, sheets, pillows. Having multiple kitchens was great. We really had a ball. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star is that the property is on the older side. Other than that it was awesome.

Amazing view and large enough for a big family.

Our family of 22 had so much fun at this house! We could eat together and play games and hang out. It is a pretty steep walk to the beach but a short drive. The runners in our family did run to the beach and back. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped for everything you want to do. The house was clean. The owner messaged me every day just to check.

IBB Mansion has a lovely view and accommodated our family very well. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed
.including a digital meat thermometer! :-) Kids enjoyed the hot tub and media room. Jen was easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions we had.

A wonderful retreat

This property is very spacious and has a fabulous view. The kitchen is well stocked with any kitchen item you would ever need. The place is clean and everything is in good working order. What a treat to have a theater! This place was perfect for our women’s retreat, but it would also be great for families. Another super feature was the friendliness and accessibility of owner Jen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!!

Amazing!

Our full family gathered at IBB for our matriarch's 80th birthday. Our stay was too short to fully enjoy all this house has to offer, but it perfectly met all of our needs. As everyone says, the views are stunning. We enjoyed a smores night at the fire pit while the kids told ghost stories. A few of us took a dip in the hot tub. A few played billiards. Some enjoyed watching Formula 1 racing in the theater room. The town/beach are close and easy to get to, and we had fun shopping, playing in the sand, and grabbing a Pronto Pup. The kitchen is large and open and easy to gather and work in, and the table plus seating along the island was sufficient for all of us to dine together. There are ample dishes and utensils. The primary suite on the main floor is spacious and worked perfectly for the elderly couple in our group. The other bedrooms in this multi-level home require some stairs, and going up and down them a lot is a great work out! The youngest kids loved the bunk beds downstairs. They also really enjoyed the intercom system. We appreciated that there are also plenty of bathrooms, fully stocked, which is a necessity with larger groups. The check in and check out process was seamless, and the host is very responsive and checked in with us regularly. We wish we could have stayed longer, but in the true spirit of the house, when we left we all said, "I'll Be Back!"

Great Family Gathering at an Amazing Property

This property exceeded all expectations. This multi-level property comfortably accommodated 22 adults and one toddler for five days. Whether we were cooking in the main kitchen (yes, there is more than one) or enjoying our meals inside or on the deck, chatting around the fire pit or soaking in the spa, we were dazzled by the ocean views from sunrise to sunset. I've stayed in places where the basics (dishes, pots/pans, silverware, etc) barely got you through a meal. This home was well stocked with all the necessities as well as puzzles, games, and books. We enjoyed a movie night in the theater room and a few games of pool and corn hole. There are just too many amenities to list. Jen, the Host, was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. She even checked in to make sure all was going well. Wish we had a few more days to take advantage of more of the sites and activities. This place was so special, I'd almost consider hosting another large gathering!

House on the rocks

The house is huge; there was plenty of room for our group of 15. And, the view is amazing. It also seems a bit dated. Kitchen and baths have been updated, but other rooms appear to be 80/90s vintage. Kids loved it. We used pretty much all of the amenities... theater room, billiard room, fire pit, hot tub, deck and grill. The kites were a nice touch. Noticed the kayaks in the garage, but didn't use them. Bath towels were small...would really prefer thicker/larger. Beds were comfortable. The grille needs to be replaced; the lid was broken and it doesn't get very hot. We paid a premium price; wouldn't stay again for the same rate. That said, the grandkids thought it was great. So, thanks for opening your home to us! We made memories there that will last a lifetime!

Such a Cool Place

Jen's house is truly stunning. We hosted our long wedding weekend there, and everyone remarked on how incredible the house was. We were able to comfortably sleep 19 adults - 8 of which were in bunks and one on a pull out couch. I wouldn't rely on the futons, many of which are in bedrooms which are best meant for couples. The kitchen is huge and well stocked, though the oven is quite small. Jen was an incredibly helpful and flexible host. She did everything in her power to make our wedding weekend as easy as possible. She answered all the questions we had leading up to our stay, and offered helpful suggestions when appropriate. Please stay here!

Wonderful stay, amazing host

This is a perfect house for a large group! So many places to relax without feeling like you’re in anyone’s way. We appreciated having multiple ensuites so each family could have their own bathrooms and yhe bunk bed room was great for all the kids to stay in. We enjoyed the movie theater room, pool table and especially the view from the top floor. The host was very responsive from booking to check-in and even post-checkout. We left something behind and they were very helpful in searching for it and even mailing it back to us! We are so grateful! They are the perfect hosts and we will absolutely be looking to stay at one of their properties the next time we’re booking a getaway. Thanks for the wonderful stay at the coast!

Perfect holiday getaway

We stayed at the IBB mansion for a holiday gathering and absolutely loved it. Jen was very communicative and provided everything we needed for our large group. Everyone had their own space with plenty of common areas to gather together. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment for coming together for shared meals. We can’t wait for the next time we stay!

Give Thanks!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation on the Oregon coast. The weather was sunny and perfect. The home provided everything we needed and the views were amazing! Beds were comfy, the kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking necessities, and the hot tub was a hit. Movie room was cool and the kids enjoyed playing pool and arcade games. The communication with owners was good and they kindly left a couple of complimentary surprises—-Thank you. We would have liked a heads up on the adjusted check in and out times, it may have changed our travel plans had we known earlier. Other than that, everything went well and we appreciated the opportunity to stay at Illbeback! Sunny skies, king tides and sand dollars

This property was perfect for our 10 year wedding anniversary! We had a large group with us to celebrate and everyone had an perfect time. Unbelievable View!

We had an amazing time at the IBB Mansion in Rockaway Beach, OR. Our event was a corporate retreat for my small business. Everyone had a wonderful time. The property was so comfortable for our group of 16 and there was something to do for everyone. It is a beautiful walk to the beach, there's a huge and well-stocked kitchen for meals, multiple decks for taking in the amazing views, and so much bright light!! It's the ideal property for large groups. Thank you so much for a very memorable vacation!

Premier family friendly vacation rental!

I cannot say enough great things about this property and the area! There were 16 of us and Jen was absolutely the BEST host! I would rate her 10 stars if I could. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, and we cooked A LOT. There are two coffee tea stations, one in the main kitchen and one in the small kitchen area on the second floor. This was so nice at night for our tea lovers and in the morning for tea and coffee. We sat in the hot tub and watched sunsets from the deck or the beach. We had a family movie night and played lots of games and puzzles. The coast is great to explore and Rockaway Beach is a happy middle area. The Beach Bakery has yummy treats but only open F-Tues. we had a lovely breakfast at Downies Cafe in Bay City (10 minutes away). They have the BEST homemade pie and cinnamon rolls. That was a direct recommendation from Jen and we truly appreciated it! Back to the house, the beds are all so comfortable, which is rare as we travel A LOT. The bathrooms are all stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash. We utilized the washer and dryer so we did not have to pack as many clothes. Smore's on the fire place was a favorite with the kids and was a perfect way to end our last night. I hope we get to return soon! We highly recommend creating memories here and letting Jen make your getaway stress free!
