We had a room facing the lake which was nice. We took advantage of the late check out. So the kids could swim a little longer. Pool was a little cold. And the hot tub was not working.

I always love staying at the Baymont, our light above the sink did not work, so had to do hair and makeup in front of the full length mirror, we were in a hurry so did not need maintenance in our room at the time but we alerted staff and it was fixed when we returned.

The jacuzzi in our room did not work. Made the front seat aware of the issue they sent the maintenance man to our room and after 3 hours he could not fix the problem at check out the staff said they did not have any idea what I was talking about

Needs an upgrade

Chose Baymont because they have one of the most reasonable fees for pets ($25) among budget hotels. I find most hotels like these to be interchangeable--the differences are small unless they're very new and/or in the more "European style" like Aloft, Home2Suites, Avid, etc. So I got what I expected here--comfortable enough, clean enough, no frills. However, this particular Baymont is in need of refreshing and updating. The TV was old, the walls were scuffed, the bathroom old school, not updates to tech, etc. Fine for one night on a cross country trip.

A good amount of broken appliances, chips and dents in furniture, etc. An overall “dated” hotel. Along with all of the lights in the parking lot did not have bulbs in them either. The staff though were very friendly, and the room was still fairly clean.

I really didn't want to complain. But after I received a 25. Early check in and wasn't told about it until check out. The room wasn't that clean with paper on the floor by the safe and there is a lot of dust and dirt on the bed frame and looks likely someone ether cough on the tv or splashed it. And was still the same way the next day. And I bet if you now it's still the same.

Great overnight

We are on a cross country road trip and so this was a one nighter. Good choice. Sarah at checkin was lovely and helpful. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner, which we really enjoyed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We couldnt hear traffic even though we were facing the highway. Breakfast was OK- only a small choice of items. Appreciate that there were some hot items even though they were very basic sausage and premade egg patties

The jet tub in the room was fantastic. The smell in the hotel was spa like, aromatherapy. Wonderful. Beds are so comfortable with lots of pillows.
