This property operates with a "guy in a box" method of staffing. If you need anything you have to talk to a guy somewhere far away, then that person makes a phone call to the guy right next to you to get anything done. Local staff seemed out of touch, far away guy just made everything awkward and simple problems hard to solve. Very poor and lazy approach to customer service. I won't be staying in Days Inn anymore as long as this is a thing.

The chemical cleaning supplies were very overpowering. Checking in at the lobby with not having someone there and the lobby was loud I couldn't hear. I don't like putting all my information up on the screen with a whole bunch of people in the lobby. I will not be staying there again

Check in was smooth but it was done through a kiosk, on like a zoom. no actual live person in the lobby to actually greet you. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, pillows fluffy. The breakfast was mainly snacks & coffee.

Both nights of my stay there was no hot water. I called and complained and they seemed to turn it on but it just went off again. I did not have hot water when I needed it. This is not how a hotel should run. Very unprofessional. They knew they were having issues with the water. before we checked in and said nothing. I want a refund.

Very nice stay and I would absolutely return. The check in process is very easy. There is a kiosk as you enter and a virtual employee was waiting for me. She was really sweet and helpful as this was a new experience for me to check in this way. I could see it being a problem if there are lots of people waiting to check in as there is only 1 screen, but since it was just me it worked out just fine. They administer the room keys through the kiosk and also print out a receipt with the wifi password info. Parking is easy and complimentary. There are 3 buildings on the premises. My room was great, located in the main building. Large, renovated room with laminate floors, comfy king bed, couch and computer desk, and a large bathroom. I was traveling with my dog so having a nice big room is great for us to spread out. There is a nice pool and seating area outside. Plenty of grass for your pups or kids to run around. Breakfast was pleasant but was missing hot foods. I was hoping eggs and sausage/bacon would be offered. There is just muffins, cereal, yogurt and some fruit. All nice but I need protein to start my day. Has to take off a star because the shower took forever to get warm-I couldn’t wait any longer so took a cold shower as I had to hit the road. Hopefully they can fix that issue as I have noticed other reviews mention the same thing. Overall a great deal in the Davis area.

Metal box w/ human face!

Really upset about check-in. No personal interaction at all. Beautiful large counter for check-in, missing a human, hopefully smiling person!!!!!!!!!!!! Talked with a metal box with a face and I could hardly understand him. Good thing that I preregistered or I would have never got it done. Had to ask the metal box where the gym was, didn't understand directions, walked around in the dark looking until I gave up. Ho I'm old and I'm still here. Horrible customer service in my opinion.
