This is going to be my last review of this property because I stay here roughly once a month, and if I keep giving these reviews they’re gonna raise their prices. Clean cheap and responsive staff.. exactly what I’m looking for when I’m on the road and self-employed

Early Check In Fee, Really?

Other than some plumbing issues I hope they fix for the next guest, our stay was fine. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the early check-in fee of $30. I know I had the choice to decline and simply come back in a couple of hours after 3pm, but I knew that meant I wouldn't be able to check-in till 10pm or later. They had a room ready, so basically, the early check-in fee is a convenience tax. SureStay would be much better off making their customers feel good and appreciated and maybe getting 5 stars instead of 3.

Overall it was a good choice for the value. The towels were a little thin but they did the trick. No room cleaning during our two day stay. The blanket was very thin so we were cold the first night but the staff was happy to give us more blankets when we asked. We didn’t eat breakfast there but it looked like there were nice options. We would stay there again.

Some of the prior reviews made me hesitant to book but I am glad I did. The front desk staff were so great and helpful. Addressing some reviews, yes they allow pets, yes the bathrooms were clean, yes the beds have a metal box spring and the mattress isn't superior but it was clean and comfortable, the TV (plural there were 2) worked, I paid an additional 10 bucks for two queens with a wet bar and the room set up had the wet bar counter between the beds which was a nice feature and afforded a little bit of privacy. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked, and the fresh fruit was truly fresh. I did overhear someone complaining that the chair in their room was broken, it was a little unreasonable to complain after 11 pm at night after maintenance has left for the day. Don't hesitate about the bad reviews, communicate timely with front desk, they are super good. A reasonable car/Uber ride to Thunder Valley.This room was a good value and we were happy with it.
