Could improve.

No privacy locks on entree door or bathroom door. No circulation vent in bathroom either so after I took a big poop the stench lingered for a while. The room was quite small I stayed in room #817. The A/C vent duct in the bathroom was extremely dirty as well, you could visibly see the collection of dust/lint. As for the pros, the hotel vallet service ($39 per night) was extremely convenient & helpful, staff was always very friendly and polite. Location of hotel was convenient super close to Riverwalk.

The hotel is very well located, close to the best part of the river and good restaurants. The breakfast and happy hour included were nice, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed!

Being that it was going to be hot, we canceled a room at the Hilton Canopy because they didn’t have a pool and the Drury did. The hotels were the same price. The pool is much smaller than depicted in creative photos online, and was overrun with kids. There is also not a restaurant that you can order from, just the free buffets that are low quality.

Location is great, service great, but the place needs major updating. It is a beautiful old building but looks la little run down.

We had the perfect stay at The Drury Plaza Hotel. It is a beautiful historic building. The room was a nice size, and the staff could not have been more friendly. Everyone from the valets, check in/out clerks to housekeeping were all very nice and helpful. I will definitely be reccomending this place to everyone I know going to San Antonio.
