The property has a four star rating, which is shouldn’t. I took pictures inside the building. They need to be repainted. There were some errors that have water damage. Even my room itself behind the toilet like that recently had ants or something. The rooms itself was not painted and where they did paint you could tell The property itself has too much construction going around it very noisy. You would get woken up around 5 AM every morning, even if you have a Riverwalk view so loud and noisy at all times.

Good location.

I booked two rooms for my family. We checked in and were on the 6th floor. The front desk attendant only checked us in for one one so we had to go back downstairs and spend another 15 minutes checking in again. The bathroom door was in rough condition. The two chairs in the room was very worn. The TV only had like 6 channels. Location was great though. Across the street from the riverwalk.

Understand is an old property but it should be in a better condition, the staff should be more pleasant, on the page said breakfast available but when you arrive they tell you , i am sorry but we don't have breakfast, but we do have a restaurant that serves breakfast but is not part the hotel, that been said. Don't choose this hotel just because it says that has ballet parking, and breakfast , and those 2 things together in downtown uff sound good, nop i am sorry The ballet parking is $40 per night plus the breakfast Plus the conditions of the rooms , i think is better to seat down and put 2 2, because what you may think you are saving is not real and the discomfort of being in a room dirty, is not right.

The lights flicker on and off a lot and even though we didn’t stay inside the hotel for long the tv and internet went out a couples of times when we were there. The staff was excellent and helpful.

Property is historic building at one end of riverwalk so quiet and less congestion. Rooms are small and have been updated. Bathrooms have had some updates, but there is still mold around the shower and metal door frames are rusted out at the bottom and painted over. We had a riverview room but mostly you see roofs of area buildings with a slim view of the riverwalk. Overall, property was good and much less than other hotels along the riverwalk.

The rooms and property are more dated than what the pictures portrayed on Expedia, but the stay was good. San Antonio was in a freeze warning at the time of stay, so couldn’t use the pool.
