The price was very reasonable for San Diego. The staff at the front desk and the maids were extremely courteous and helpful. The location was convenient and although safe, not the best part of town. The room was very clean. The mattress was new and firm. Stayed for nine days in February 2025. Complimentary breakfast (while the room was being renovated) consisted of brown bags for each guest containing orange juice, banana or orange, yogurt, Jimmy Dean sausage sandwich, pastry, bottle of water and protein bar. Not the del Coronado hotel but would definitely stay there again.

Bag breakfast due to renovations. Of course I didn’t know that until after I booked a nonrefundable room. Other than that, it was a great stay in an renovated room that was clean, quiet, and a great price. There is no pool or hot tub but if you want a good stay near most everything this is a good spot.

The inside of the hotel looks far better than the outside. The morning breakfast was a bummer. we got a bag of cold items because the breakfast room was under construction. However, we were advised in advance of this, so acceptable. The neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired.

Building and breakfast area renovations hopefully things will be completed before your stay, no closet in my room, plumbing from other rooms loud, low water pressure, strip club on the backside of the building; however, mostly quiet, clean, comfortable beds, quiet a/c unit, microwave and small refrig., shower cap, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, lotion, lots of towels, called ahead to check in after 12 am, staff helped with luggage and very accommodating, night security, lots of parking, pizza delivery until 1:45 am, has snacks and cold protein shakes for purchase. Would stay again hopefully renovations will be completed.

They have small parking spaces, room had a strong humid smell, also would be nice to have a mini fridge, other than that good location, friendly staff updated rooms, would definitely stay there again

This place is conveniently located in a central part of San Diego, close to a lot of sights to see and things to do. The freeway is right next door too. Overall, I would stay here again just based off the location and price.
