The property was clean and conveniently located to the stadium where I was going to watch a Padres game. The staff was outstanding and extremely helpful and attentive to my request and needs. I will always stay here when I am in San Diego. I highly recommend this property.

It’s walkable but also out of the way so not nearly as convenient as staying in the Gas Lamp which is more central to all the things to do. Very family friendly. Rooms didn’t have bottled water, you had to go to their cafe to get the complimentary water which just seemed like a play to get you to spend money in the cafe for other snacks. I always buy snacks but thought it was a weird forced visit. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as other Hiltons and the bath towels were thin. At checkin, the front desk tried to upsell us for a bay view, but our view ended up being just as nice facing the bridge to Coronado. Breakfast options were delicious and lunch was good (not as good as breakfast). Bloody Mary’s at breakfast were far superior to those at the pool. We also saw two very beautiful weddings at the property the weekend we were there. Totally different set ups with gorgeous floral decor.

This hotel was a great stay. Very close to the marina and had a great walkable area directly in back of the hotel. The pool was amazing, it had a great view of the harbor and located very close to Petco Park and the Gas Lamp Location.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a nice view of the bay on the 23rd floor. The hotel and our room was very clean and well kept. The beds and pillows were confortable. Its in an ideal location across from Petco and the Gas Lamp quarter. We didnt have time to check out the pool but we plan to return at some point to enjoy the pool.

It was not a good experience. I had chosen my room ahead of time using the hilton app. When we got there after 4pm we were told that the room wasn’t ready and that they had a different room for us. This new room was 10 floors down with a view overlooking an industrial area. Much different from the room I picked that was on the 30th floor overlooking the ocean. They also had a lot of issues with the elevators. Wait times to get on an elevator ranged from 10-20min and once you were on it, there was a good chance that it would stop on every single floor until you reached the lobby. Needless to say, we couldn’t book any ubers or order any food until we were at the lobby floor. Also, the pool area didn’t look anything like the pictures. Overall this stay was pretty terrible.

Price Gouging
I think charging a daily $45.00 for a resort fee and $45.00 for parking on top of an expensive room fee is annoying. I did not think it was worth staying there for the price. The resort fee is a new ploy to get extra money, even if people don't use the pool or gym.
