This is a nicely restored Art Nouveau hotel with a lovely rooftop with city views and a friendly staff. However there is a “destination fee” of $25 per night, which only shows up after you’ve spent a lot of time selecting all the package details for your trip. And for what? To walk up and down 8 flights of stairs when one of the two antique elevators is not working (the other is totally out of service)? For a tiny room with 6 hangers on a rod above the minibar with no drawers/closet to store your clothes? For maid service that doesn’t empty the one small garbage in the bathroom or supply more coffee daily? To be woken up with so much shouting in the street that it sounds like a riot? For a mini fridge that is so packed with items for sale that there is no room for your own items? I don’t like to complain about these small issues, but in light of them a “destination fee” is not warranted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The hotel decor is stunning, the hotel staff were extremely friendly, check-in took us less than 10 minutes, and the hotel is in a very convenient location, with restaurants and bars all around. We would definitely stay here again!

The design was great and fit within the context of a historic building, there were thoughtful small touches in the rooms (robe, great soaps, artwork, interesting drinks in the mini bar) and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooftop was also great, and the restaurant on the first floor was excellent and convenient. Highly recommend!

Adorable hotel with a great staff. Our suite was in an odd area, windows looked out to a very smal interior courtyard but aside from that the room was well appointed and a good size. other reviews mentioned the elevator (onl one working) and it was not convenient but the history makes up for that. Good value and we'll stay there again

Beautiful historic and vintage hotel
Came here for our anniversary and absolutely loved the hotel. It’s historic and located in the middle of everything. We were easily able to walk to the restaurants, bars and convenient stores and loved being able to pop by our room when we needed to. It’s a stunning and charming hotel and we loved the rooftop during sunset. Everyone was kind and we would love to come back. The only thing that was difficult was the historic elevators, that while cool took a very long time to wait for which was a bummer as we had luggage and were on the 8th floor so we often took it to go up. Also the room had no view which we were bummed about as it’s located in such a stunning area. Despite this we plan to come back and stay again as we loved the hotel.

I like the style of the hotel. The room was very clean. I didn’t like the sink in the room and from my room I can hear a lot of noises until very late so I couldn’t sleep well. This morning the elevator was not working properly so I have to come down using the stairs from the 9th floor… besides these things I like the Palihotel very much.
