The property had elevator renovations going on, which was not too big of a deal. The water pressure in the bathroom was an issue. I would have complained, but just there one night. There are several nice hotels in the area, that being said I most likely, will book somewhere else next time.

The Marriott Gaslamp Quarter was perfect - Right in the heart of the historic downtown district and just far away from the night scene that it is quiet at night. It’s in a very walkable area and has a gorgeous rooftop bar, as well!

Booked a room for a charity event I was going to work for a children's hospital. Notified last minute of cancelation. I notified this hotel at least 1 week in advance that I needed to cancel. No love, no understanding, just: "Cancelation Refused. Hotel Policy." I own a business, if someone cancels 7 days in advance, I don't charge them. They also probably booked my room to someone else. So, they took from someone trying to work a charity event and then doubled it. Woo hoo. Go America. They also charge $65/night for parking- valet only- so it's not competitive pricing at all when you add it up. Just get an AirBnb with an actual human who will treat you like an actual human.
