Great location, convenient for shopping and dining, wonderful and friendly staff and overall fantastic stay! This is my go to when I’m in the city as it’s easy access to transport, restaurants and shopping.
Good location near the BART and Union Square with lots of dining options nearby. Staff were helpful and the hotel room had a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The roof fans from the neighbouring restaurant made some noise throughout the night but otherwise it was comfortable and I would stay again.
The properly is old and very basic. The rooms are tiny, I spent my stay walking sideways around the bed because of the lack of room. It reminded me of some European rooms I stayed in.
The windows do not isolate noise
The hotel however is very well run and very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is close to major transportation and would be a great location if not for all of the homeless drug addicts that sleep and relive themselves on the sidewalk. There isn't much the hotel can do and the Hilton and Continental have exactly the same problem but it is off putting and rather discussing so be prepared for If. If you just walk up one street you are then surrounded by Saks, Macy's and Louis Vuitton.
The price was excellent for a downtown location

Room quite small, check out time used to be noon now @ 11 am but the staffs very friendly
The property was showing its age but was clean and comfortable The staff were all very friendly and helpful If I needed to come back to San Francisco I would have no problem returning 👍
Property was absolutely filthy. We paid for the most expensive room in the hotel, a superior suite, and not only didn’t get the room we reserved but the front desk staff, Indy, argued with us for over two hours about a refund while other guests piled up behind us as he ignored them when they needed help.
